Depends on what you’re using it for. I knew I was going to modify mine and it was a better platform than the Q5 to do so. The 3.0 from the SQ is very solid. When I had it I could easily get 25+ mpg on my commute.

@@MeanYellowMachine I traded it in last year and it had around 40k on it. I had zero issues with. In fact, kinda wished I hadn’t gotten rid of it😂.

Typically ACC is just distance sensing with no lane keeping/steering assist. However I think most of the newer Audis, if it comes with ACC, then TJA is already included

Ya know, I think it is funny how we think technology is so cool and how we would use it all the time. While I do like this feature I don't find myself using that often. The braking can be kind of abrupt at times and it makes you look like you are slamming on your brakes to the people behind you.

@@midtenn_life appreciate the feedback. I’ve found the “Audi Sense” sensors very abrupt as well during regular driving. Glad to hear I’m not missing out..

@@DavidWilliams03 you are totally right about that. The drive thru's is where I have to end up turning it off constantly.

I am pretty sure that if the car has driver assistance package it probably does. It is just the lane departure function. I have a buddy with a ‘18 Q7 prestige and he has it. I also think that if what you are picking up has the radars in front (the parts on the front bumper that looks like fog lights) it probably has it. You can also look in the glovebox for the owners manual, sometimes people fold up the window sticker and put it in there. Hope this helps.

@@midtenn_life thanks for the speedy reply Lance. I know the car has adaptive and lane assist. The indicator stalk has the button you mention (with a symbol of car and 2 arrows either side). The front grille has 2 square objects either side of the registration plate, but no circular objects lower down (presume this is the fog light type things you mention). There's a trapezoidal cam on the rear view mirror, too...

@@SUBTUBESCENT forgot that the a6/a7 has the squares in the main grille area and not down low. I would assume that it has what you are looking for, assuming I answered what you were asking 😂

Thanks Mikey. So mine has the black optics package so I will not have to worry about changing the grill out. I do have some other vids coming up for the other mods I will be doing so stay tuned.

No, not from my understanding and not from how it works. lane assist just helps keep it in the lane, so it works like it would if it was turned on without TJA active.

Sorry for the late reply. what do you mean by set the road speed on the HUD? The HUD has very limited info on it, one thing that I don't like. It should have more info and configuration abilities.

@@midtenn_life no worries, Thank you for the reply, i agree it should come with more time info, you know I have seen some videos of the same SQ5 that the HUD has the speed you are on and next to it it has the speed limit sign so you can see both on the HUD

Not sure, was there an issue with it? I thought you had to have a subscription to Audi Connect for that to work anyway. You can always check out Audizine to see if there is something on there about it.

Traffic in Nashville sucks and if I have to make a quick decision I would like to have the best throttle response if I need it.

Yup, throttle response, quicker shifts, and engine braking. Why wouldn't you utilize sport mode in traffic?

Unfortunately, no way to do that. The third-party remote start system could only work with this car if you left one key in the vehicle because of the immobilizer, which is absolutely insecure. Regarding the factory option - I've never heard about that in the USA, but you could have it in Germany.
