Audi C7 S6 gets DS1 Stage 2 Tune Using BTRes Digital Display

3 жыл бұрынNew SRM Intakes arrived so it’s time to go stage 2! Quick video on how to tune your Audi 4.0T through DS1 using BTres digital display. I highly recommend this display if you are running Dyno Spectrum Tuning. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I’ll try my best to answer. Thanks for tuning in!

Very nice! It would be cool if the display could prop up somehow. I always need to hit the park distance button fairly regularly since the front camera always activates late!

How hard was the install? How does the ds1 connect to the Btres? WIFI? I am waiting on my screen bow for my RS7.

What numbers where you getting? To the wheel. What were the differences between stage 1 and 2? Also does they make a transmission tune? Sorry I have so many questions I’m trying to decide between this, apr, and the integrated engineering. So many questions and not enough answers 😂

I have yet to get on a real Dyno. My vote would be DS1. However DS1 does not offer a trans tune you can get one through SRM or Boosted Euro. Both very great companies to go through. Going from stage 1 to stage 2 I didn’t feel much difference however going from 91 to E85 I felt a big difference.

how is that mounted to your dash? Did you have to remove dash elements to install it?

It clips into the CD slot. However to run the 2 ribbon cable that connect to the screen you need to slide the radio out I believe. There should be install instructions on the website as well.

hey quick question does the DS1 bypass the check light if you have down pipes ...the same way APR stage to keeps the light off?

No it doesn’t you need to have the rear O2 sensors coded out. You can do it with the DS2 software or have someone tune them out for you

Does not come with tunes. This setup goes hand in hand with the DS1 tuner reading all the data and displaying it on the screen

you know what a bet someone can move those buttons and integrate that and remove the CD player cause who even uses those, Scanning that part of the dash in 3D most definitely doable

No need for a computer! Can do it all through the BTRES screen!

How accurate is the virtual dyno and are those numbers stage 1 or stage 2? Says 450whp

Stage 2 numbers. I have yet to schedule real Dyno session to compare but should be pretty accurate!

@@657Racing looking at dyno spectrums website they are stating 523whp and 680lb tq on Stage 1 with 93 pump so that’s why I was shocked to see only 450whp

@@johnny4uranus Correct. As of now car only has SRM intakes. Waiting on RS7 turbos to get here to go stage 3!

@@steww5544 I have yet to throw it on a dyno but according to the virtual dyno on the BTres system it is pushing 460HP which seem about right from what I’ve seen for a Stage 2 S6 on stock turbos.
