Nice review! But just so you know: the power output (245 BHP) is always the same, with or without the battery charged. And that's because even with an "empty" battery the car always maintains a percentage of battery charge.

Good review. I couldn't call this a family car though if you've more than 1 child based on the boot size alone. I'd include all the audi "3" family of cars in that and I've had 2 of them. You really need the A4 / Q5 / Q4 E-tron to have sufficient space for a couple of kids and luggage space for a holiday or a weeks shopping.

A grand oul review! Thanks Nobby. Bemused by much of the PHEV advertising that quotes the combined power, when the electric portion is potentially only available for a part of a journey. They should quote just base ICE engine power with periodic boost of whatever the electric part can deliver. But then ... marketing ! ( like "somebody else" still rattling out the "Self-charging" hybrid nonsense 🤦‍♂️)

Didn't see any review from you on the MG. Just wondering if you'd had any opportunity to look at it. It seems to be getting very good reviews from some of the reviewers in the UK, but would like your perspective.

Disappointed with real life economy, also phevs made consumer to look after their last diesel cars. If that was a diesel economy figures be like 4-5 liters. In phevs, battery cost and more gasoline… I am not sure that is sustainable clean energy than a diesel, especially you dont charge it every night.
