So do you believe that a 4×4 duster is worth it? Do you recommand it?

I think you'd be surprised at the capability of the 2wd version, however, if you are looking to get a bit further off the beaten track the 4×4 is definitely worth it for the added grip as well as the features such as Hill decent control to make it that bit more comfortable when seriously off roading, but as a run around that occasionally goes down a slightly tougher track any model would be more than sufficient.

Robert Bidochon .yes very Good Price - but at normal Road - no One, That can buy a Audi, would thake a Dacia... sorry - Dacia is arealy Good car and the Price is excellent - but If you sit in a Audi - everything is clear you can‘t Compare it

@@fkev4751 don't get me wrong, I'm actually impressed about how well the q5 managed the terrain. The duster is kind of expected to pass through everything considering the price and the willingness of an owner to thrash it a bit more.

Agree with you men, audi drive slowly carefully with gas padel, he doesnt go back, slowly but always forward, but dacia drive hit gas to the floor, or go little back and try again with full gas

Kinda silly your comment, a car is not only the AWD (Which Audi performed pretty much the same as Duster) there is safety,handing,power,torque,quality,ergonomics,technology,resale value,comfort, and much more.

@@jpch8814 you are right, no doubt Audi makes good cars, as I said. The rest, is just my personal opinion, based on what I've seen in the video and the cars I've driven so far (Pegeout, VW, BMW, Skoda, Renault, Dacia). In some cases, more money dosen't means better.

Not only has the price for such an Audi gone prohibitively up beyond the budget of an normal honest working person, but also the cost for mainenance is way out if reach for most. Even an oil-change has cost me 250 euros. It's just rediculous.

chiar daca sunt diferite, la incrucisari ele arata un mod asemanator de a avansa. Daca pe Q5 era diferential Torsen, nu se mai comporta ca si Dusterul, mai ales incrucisare.

@@DusterCoolTravels la trecerea pe diagonala peste acea 'groapa', dacă Duster-ul nu făcea balans față-spate, nu cred ca reușea sa treacă. În rest, sistemul 4x4 de la Duster este ok. Păcat ca nu e permanent pe sosea.

@@DusterCoolTravels Din cate stiam, Haldex nu exista pe Q5, indiferent de motorizare. Toate au motor montat longitudinal si Torsen central. Q3-ul e Haldex.

La banii lui, Dusterul se tine tare. Nu ma intereseaza ce tehnologie foloseste atat timp cat te scoate din belea la un pret mult mai mic decat un Audi.

@@cernatcornel5628 ar trebui sa te intereseze, sistemul Torsen de pe Audi este net superior, diferenta e uriasa tehnic. Duster are doar un sistem rudimentar electronic de pe Qashqai dar in varianta mai ieftina, s-a renuntat la diferential spate si la asistentul de coborare in panta. Torsen e unul din cele mai bune sisteme din lume. Ca un film arata egalitate nu schimba realitatile...

Duster makes it look easy. Audi a disappointing waste of money and unreliable the duster looks the part and safer.

This Q5 has the Haldex system. And it's similar to the one one the Duster. More expensive maybe.

@@alejandroalejandro6144 yes, that's what the Audi owner said to me. Plus the fact that on the diagonal test, the q5 had the same behavior as the Duster. Which means that they have similar diferential systems.

The Audi Q5 is much larger than the Duster on the inside and the boot, it is a bigger class crossover.

@@jpch8814 Yes I know the Q5 is much larger inside, just commenting on how similar in size they look in the video from the outside. The Duster design just seems to make it look smaller than it actually is. When I see them on their own they look small, but when parked next to other cars you realize that it actually isn't that small. Well that's to my eye anyway

also don't forget that this q5 is an auto, which sucks for offroading..ground clearance is 20cm q5 and 21cm duster btw, for the ones who praise the ground clearance :D

Who buys a q5 for off road driving? None... good for having a cappuccino in the city centre, excellent for highways. 🏌

@@bittidude True on that. But what You get - is a quite good car. That cheap Duster will easily outperform most of his rivals (Range Rover, Land Rover Discovery, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Seat Tarraco, VW Tiguan, Subaru Outback, etc.). For example german cars have more power, more luxury, are more expensive - but all that goes to waste because german cars suck at exterior design (ugly looks), lacks of performance (good power, bad transfer), expensive to repair (due to complexity), expensive to insure (BMW suffers the most).. Dacia does a good job at offering cheap and good vehicles.
