The 3.0T offered 272 hp. I would strongly recommend the 3.0T over the prior 3.2L V6 if you're choosing between those. The 2.0T is also a good option if you're more into good gas mileage than performance. I would lean toward recommending a 2013 or newer as early models in an all new vehicle tend to have kinks that the manufacturer works out over time. The 2013 saw a minor refresh, but you will see a jump in prices going from the 2012 to 2013.

@@DrivenCompanion Aren't those turbo diesels though? I wanted just normal gasoline engines. It's pretty hard finding one around here. I want a Q5 in white with the premium plus package.

The 3.0T is a supercharged V6 that runs on gasoline. The diesel is also a 3.0L turbo so I can see where that would be confusing - usually its just referred to as the TDI.

@@DrivenCompanion Found a 2011 Q5 S Line with 45k for 15k said available and I called and they told me it was already sold. That was a low blow for me. The ones with 100k seem a dime a dozen but the good ones are gone in a blink of an eye! I'm still going to keep looking. Thanks for the info.

The 3.6 is a better engine, less problems because no turbo

If a dealer makes you that offer you take it. That sounds like a deal too good to be true though...

Check if it burns oil. That will cost you about 3.000 € to fix it not at official service
