@@Summerof94media Your video at 8 seconds shows the ZL1 tires haven't even started moving yet when the R8 starts moving, but you focused the rear wheels of the zl1 late so I'm not even going to argue it.

It’s crazy how the Camaro will again be discontinued. As far as engineering and performance all around , especially the handling, it clearly beats the Challenger and Mustang, but it’s appeal is really to guys more than anything, the other two cars are liked by males and females.

Yup and the Camaro / Firebirds were always kinda looked at as a Southern redneck car here in Canada.. Everyone likes looking at them and says cool car but don't want to own one. I've owned a '71,72,73 & '74 Firebird Formula cars so I know the stigma attached to them, only very specific buyers own them.

Where I'm from I see more women driving Camaro's, vs women driving Mustangs or Challengers. Not saying there is anything wrong with that. I like both Mustangs and Camaro's.

@@taylorward2983I think he may be talking about the overall aspect and not just performance and speed. But I’m not an expert on the Gt500, but we raced it, and it was animal. I do know the zl1 1LE has a usual common agreement that for handling and track days it’s one of the best to ever do it. So both have there upsides

I will take the r8 because it’s a comfortable ride and its wet or dry conditions won’t matter. It also sounds better and it looks amazing 🤩.

Makes sense. The 2017 and up V10 Plus certainly makes it a much better race with more HP and faster DCT tune.

The zl1 is supercharged while the R8 is N/A not a fair race, they should tune the Audi with exhaust and intake and a chip I bet it would take the win

It’s a $64,000 Camaro .. and a )150K Audi .the Camaro too can tuned to 1000 hp for about $25k and it’ll still be a 1/2 of the cost of the r8 .

С места Камаро проигрывает только за счет недостаточного сцепления с дорогой заднего привода, в то время, когда R8 полноприводный, и не нуждается даже в прогреве резины. Стоит поставить на заднюю ось на Camaro резину по шире и прогреть до рабочей температуры, то старт будет лучше, следовательно у R8 не будет шансов. Привет из России!💪

Yeah, the r8 is awd that’s the only reason we won the dig 😬 but the zl1 is 650HP to the r8 525HP, guess it’s what’d you expect

@@-slurmdaddy-8147 We are in America where the German’s lower the top speed (governors) compared to the European versions. That’s TF I am posting about. Thus they are powered down on the top end. Notwithstanding a tune though. But also not all tunes are created equal.
