After an excellent qualifying I start second and follow my direct opponent from the first corner. I manage to mark him closely and try not to lose ground. He is very strong and gradually, especially as the tyres wear down, the gap increases. The time for the pit stop arrives and I make a serious mistake: I hit the guard rail and fail to enter the pitlane. I lose several seconds and am joined by another rival who overtakes me on the entry. A great battle begins to recover at least third position (the second one used a risky strategy without changing tyres using the hard compound). At the first attempt I don't manage to keep the position but at the first bend of the last lap, after a slight contact without consequences for both of us, I manage to keep that little distance so as not to allow my opponent a repeat performance. Third at the finish line but satisfied. Good race.
