Unfortunately the world has moved over to SUV because that's where they want to push the market. There are plenty of family saloons, coupes, station wagons and hatch backs. With me I'd buy this and the Acura type s

This car is an absolute masterpiece. If you never going off road why would you buy an SUV? This is excellent family/sports car which offers unbelievable comfort space and impeccable performance... Again I ask... If you never going to go off roading, why do you need an SUV?

@@nqobilemahlaba2230 I agree with you. Here in the states we don’t have enough wagon (saloon) and hatchback options. This option that Micah and his family drove is one of the few available over here. Unfortunately, it is way out of my price range. Oh, only if VW would bring a Sportwagen GTI this way…..

@@jeremytd7072 oh OK I understand. But in reality over the past few years they've be slowly killing off smaller cars to push the SUV lifestyle.. Hence the crossover category was created.. (corolla Cross, cross polo, polo vivo cross) to name a few. So they slowly eliminating the small car segments for SUVs. Even her in south Africa it's the same Fam.

It's not just the most beautiful wagon available today, it's one of the most beautiful vehicles of any type that is available today. This blue paint really adds to the look as well. On the downside are the shiny black plastic on the interior, as well as on the B and C pillars on the exterior. Buuuut... if I could afford an RS 6 Avant, I would consider buying one, regardless. Being an armchair dreamer, I can be picky 😆

I love wagons....this one next level. I drive an E46 touring....I have owned for 10 years. Its 1 one my favorite cars...I would not complain if Santa were to park this under my tree... ...please take the bill up the chimney when you exit.🤔 Merry Christmas

Love mine. Some owner comments: Rear wheel steering is amazing. The turning circle is freaky for a car this size. Comfort and quietness for such a quick and powerful car makes this a genuine family all-rounder. Auto tailgate closes to easily for me - has started shutting on me way too often when leaning into the boot space! Seats are rubbish compared to my F90 M5 - limited adjustability, no massage, no bolster adjustment and only manual thigh supports. I simply cannot get the ideal balance of seat shape, position and steering wheel placement like I could in my old M5. Throttle is laggy, brakes and steering have little useful feel - feels fly-by-wire most of the time. Incredible cabin quality and overall refinement. Coupled with its speed, make this a great car overall.

Just got mine two weeks ago as an all in one car to haul the family around, your review is pretty much spot on. Two rear racing seats fit beautifully in the back seat as you hinted they might. Yes - it is a bit on pricey side but compared to pretty much every competitor this thing is a steal for all that you get (M8, E63, AMG GT63, etc). For me it combines a fun weekend car, and a daily super cruiser - and there is ultimately hardly any cars that do it better all-in-one then this one. Everything from kid drop offs, grocery hauls, road trips, to holding its own at every car show I take it to - there's nothing it can't do well. Thanks for the thorough review!

You’ve got to be screen maxxing. You’ve got to have a screen for your instruments, your AC needs to be a screen, if you want music you need a screen for that too, you need a charging pad for more screen-phones. I’m so disappointed that the window buttons aren’t little touchscreens, how much longer do we have to wait until the windows themselves are screens too?

Enjoyable review as always! I love me some hot wagons and hatches. However, even for an R6 we are kinda getting into silly price category. I think at this price point I'd be at a Mercedes dealer, I just can't attach the value to an Audi.

I certainly can overlook the gloss black as long as it is an Audi RS model. I personally wouldn't acquire one w/ceramic brakes just because I wouldn't track it. It'd be my daily and I don't need to spend thousands on replacing those rotors

I've wanted one of these ever since I found out that they existed. It has everything I would want if I could only have one car, without being yet another SUV. As a child of the 70's and 80's, I never would have thought that a station wagon would become my cool nonconformist vehicle of choice. 😎

It’s a turbo engine. And she should have brake boosted it. Or did launch control if it has it. That would have made it hit much harder at launch.

Amazing the number of markets that exist simply within the "automotive market" this being one ("sport wagon") absolutely as with all the others (mini van, hatchback, sedan, sport sedan, luxury sedan, suv, 3 row SUV, ice platform, hybrid, diesel, battery powered, "holisitc" bev, etc) with everything driven going on forever now by center stack/electronics package all modern machines be built around now today as started by Tesla but now emulated as the Industry Standard. The one consistent loser in all of this has been Volkswagen but other than that everyone both new and old has followed the trend quite ably though at truly stupendous expense insodoing.

12:48 for the prices of these luxury cars they should be color matching the virtual cars to the actual color of your car. It’s literally free for them to do so, just a minuscule software update. Big miss on a car like this, they should do better.
