I hear DRC tends to have more issues - most will need work done/replaced. Air suspension no trouble for me at 52k miles so far.

DRC is terrible. Audi have had it for ages yet still can’t get it right. Whilst not an RS6, my 2015 RS4 needed a shock replacement in 2017 at only 35,000k, under warranty. Then in 2019 ( out of warranty ) another shock failed. Car never tracked, never abused. I ended up ditching the DRC for KW coil overs, lost the presets but who cares, soft was far too soft, sport was pushing my spine through my skull and auto too slow to react. Much much better ride now and reliable ( yes it’s 2024 and I still own this car, no desire to move it on ) in short, ditch DRC would be the first thing I’d do with an Audi RS anything.

Can you confirm which generations of the RS6 you were referencing? Was it C6? C7? C8? - thanks.

Haldex A3 and below, torsen A4 and above. Very much oh dear. Think he needs to re think the technician hoodie!
