Audi S3 8L Bi-Xenon Projector Upgrade

This guide will go through all the steps to fit aftermarket 2.5" projecors into some DEPO headlights. This is the best lighting mod you can make to your car and will improve the driving experencie in the night 10 fold!

nice video, for some reason i like these headlights of the 8l more than mine. i have current an 8p. i replaced today 2 heater valve's pain in the ass.

so i've got a set of depo headlights from george seamons. what do you think about the use of the halogen lense instead of the xenon lense? i've read stories about the S3 lense being thicker and thus being more durable. would the halogen lense stand with the high xenon temperatures?

Hey man!! I wouldn't use the halogen lense, when comparing the two there's different light refraction rates between the lenses for the type of light. Halogen light beams are designed for that type of projector and may not be perfect in the xenon and vice versa. Yes they will work but how good I'm not sure of!

@@PritpalsProjects well, they work fine. And ive got a shit ton of light in front of me 😂 im curious how long the lenses will last though. Idk if the temp is too high for the halogen lenses. Also Idk if george replaces them with other lenses

You mean the outer lense?? I'm with you now! They are fine as is mate! First set of lights I built 2 years ago before I had the KZfaq channel and been running them 2 years straight and no issues. No bubbling or cracks or deformation at all. That's the ones I run on my car, I built them to look OEM.

They look great, Prit! But I am confused a little. You got the original Hella Audi lights, then you got the Depo lights... which of the two did yo disassemble?

Hi man! Thank you for the watch! I disassembled the depo lights, it's easier to fit the projector 2.5" inside as halogen depo's are 2.5" and stock hella projectors are smaller. Mod can be done to both but depos make it easier!

Ive got these for mine. But the demon eyes dont work anymore :( made a huge improvement with the bi xenons tho

@@PritpalsProjects yea. I had the lenses etched too but with s3 in the honeycombe aswell. Its the best looking bit on my car 🤣

converting a BMW e39 uk headlights to EVOX-R V2.0 D2S Bi xenon.... i noticed that all the EVOX-R V2.0 D2S Bi xenon sold are with a US beam pattern .....can those me modified to be used in uk? how? can the cutoff be inverted? thanx

Hey, i got to ask you… When you turn on high beam, your h7 and xenon will lights up? Or just xenon.
