You do not need to remove the steering wheel if you are just installing the paddles, however you will need to remove the airbag cover.

*IMPORTANT* IF YOU ARE ONLY CHANGING THE PADDLES, THERE IS NO NEED TO REMOVE THE WHEEL. THE PROCESS CAN BE DONE WITH THE WHEEL ATTACHED

On the 8Y it can be done w/o removing the wheel or the air bag?

@@monkeyballer32 I'm not 100% sure about the 8Y but it should be more or less very similar. Just depends on the clearance on the back when you need to remove the paddle pins
