I bought a set of MK3 TT door cards and installed them here - • Audi TT MK3 8S Door Ca...
They didn’t have all the features my old doors had so i made the alterations to the doors and used parts from the existing doors.
1: Folding mirror button on door controls on drivers door card
2: Install alarm button on the inside of the door - This button disables the factory alarm motion sensor. In case you leave a dog / person / etc. in the car with the doors locked.

Another great job mate, well done 👍🏼. When you come to do your lighting in the doors and have the door cards back off, might be worth fitting some new door card popper clicks so the panels will be nice and tight again

Cheers mate, appreciate it. Those popper clicks are super tight, quite hard to pop them off as it is, don’t think i need anymore 😂

Another great video mate.you explain everything so well and easy to understand. The car is looking great especially the front bumper , did you wrap the bottom lip into the bottom grilles ? Makes it look rs looks

If you don’t have the button you can disable the movement alarm by pressing the lock button on the remote control key a second time within 2 secs.

Didn’t know that. How do you know if it’s on or off?

I’ve been using the ferry a few times recently so looked into this, it def seems to work. It will remain deactivated until you unlock the car. There’s no actual notification as such on the dashboard etc, handy to know though. You got the one dial sport display activated on your car yet? It’s an easy mod now and looks great. Edit: oh I’ve just seen your vid on it! Enjoy

Thanks mate. No, I used the original loom I had which the controller came with. I bought better looking doors but with a different controller unit so I swapped the bits over

Hi Rappy woundered If you could help, I know this is your last model but my ttmk3 also doesn't come with puddle light cut out / don't suppose you know if the wires are inside the door card? To retrofit shadow puddle light

All depends if you have any lighting in your door. The cables are usually brown and grey running power. If not you’d need to run new cables through the door access to the footwell lights to run them. The area to put the light in is filled in but you can see where to cut it out. It’s a bit more involving.

@@ITSARAPPTTRS so its just a different bulb for the doors and the center console also? Or did you retrofit a full ambient light yourself? Because my tt has it standard but its a white light

@@Almedz I retro fitted it. I didn’t have it prior. The lighting is just coming from under the dash and the seats
