Audi TT Window Reset Procedure (after reconnecting battery)

/ awzkar_
1.Turn the ignition on - don't start the engine
2. windows down and then straight back up
3. when the windows are up release the switch momentarily
4. Pull the switches back up and hold for 3 to 5 seconds
5. Let the switches go
6.ignition off
that should complete the reset!!

Mine is automatically dropping down 3-4” every time I wind it up?? Wont stop doing it as soon as i release switch or button on key it comes back down

I got in my Mk I TT and noticed the error sighn came up on the stereo, then my window jammed, I managed to pull it up using the up button and a bit of persuasion, do you think what you are explaining on you vid will work still ? Don't want to make things worse

Marios Apostolou honestly it wouldnt hurt to try! I found an easier way just pull both windows all the way up and hold both buttons for like 5 seconds and let go But if the window is getting jammed maybe the window trails arent lubed up properly i think its silicone lubricant what you may need to use on them.

Gabriel1996 lol I can just imaginate what that’s like😂 but can you tell is my chip broken ’cause when I push my gas pedal all the way or just half the way down it starts rise rpm from 3000rpm to 7000rpm and nothing happening. When I got that car it ”throwed” rpm from 3500rpm to 5000rpm and then the view changend very quickly😂

Does this procedure work for this problem ? : Basically you know when you open the door ?the window should go 2 cm down and when you close it the window return back in his position But one of my window do not do this anymore So : on your opinion will this procedure resolve this problem ?

It doesnt hurt to try! If it dont work most likely yourwindow microswitch is bad

Theres a simpler way make sure windows are closed then both windows down then both windows up fully release then after 0.5 seconds hold both windows fully up for 5 seconds job done

Shaun Newell when you unplug the battery The windows wont roll down automatically, so this basically resets the windows so that they roll up and down with one touch 👌🏻
