After a long night of battles at the 2019 Great North Beatbox Battles, we all stopped at HeAt’s new place to chill out and test out the sound system. Someone suggested filming it, but if only someone had a camera… Oh yeah, that’s right. Five minutes later and we have CAUGHT IN THE BEATBOX AT HEATS. Enjoy!

Audical is really sick, but the techniques he employs can be really straining on the vocal cords when used for too long. I hope he doesn't forget to take the right amount of care with his throat after performing, and I hope that no one trying to learn and employ inward bass forgets to do so. Take care of yourselves, y'all.

It doesn't hurt after some time. He is doing it for several years so he should be pretty comfortable with it. I have been doing beatboxing for 10 months and now I can do inward bass for whole day without any problem

I know, but just as the use of vocal fry and fry screaming, the inward bass can be gradually straining without the proper care. Self-care is always a good thing.

He does take proper care. And yes, all vocal techniques can be dangerous. But the real lesson is the vocal health. You can't scream all day and expect nothing to happen. Likewise, its PROPER training that is most crucial.

Audical = Pf snare/K snare/Spit snare intros + Bass (that inward bass with the hollow clop was sick as fuck though) Inertia = Pf snare/K snare/Spit snare a lot + Bass (the way he pumps the inward bass with such clarity is dirty as shit) Variety = Audical Majority = Inertia Judging the vocal Bass of these guys takes too much science 😂 Speed utilizing the technique = Inertia Speed switching the technique = Audical Honestly these two are quite equal IMO. Quantity vs Quality both shoes fit both beatboxers 🤔
