As average as this movie may have been, man, I love seeing Arnold on the big screen

I can't believe there were no reactions towards John's death, and the epic fighting scenes. Mackenzie Davis really brought it to the fullest. Especially when she uses the chains. Badass.

This movie seemed very mediocre, but DANG is it fun to see Arnold back in his best role!

This is a short 10 min reaction because everybody was paying attention to the movie. Sorry they’re were no reactions to John Connor scene. It was just silence. The reactions grew when Sarah Connor and T-800 showed up because we love seeing Arnold on the big screen. The rest of the scenes were silent. I really enjoyed this one. My favorite Terminator movies are Terminator 1 and 2 and Dark Fate.

It sounded like these people really enjoyed this film. Its much better the second time. I didn't really like it the first time because there were a lot of Wtf moments but they actually work well within the film like John Connors death and the Terminator becoming more like a human.

I know to most fans, the franchise got stale. But as a movie, this was pretty cool. It's hard to top the best one in the franchise, but this was a very nice send-off if indeed this the last one..... here's my ranking.... 1. Terminator 2 2. Genisys 3. Rise of the Machines 4. You know, I think this movie was decent and had some interesting things, but could have easily been way better. I don't think killing John was really that necessary. I personally think it would make sense if Skynet sent two terminators. One t800 and the prototype T1000. It would make sense because since it's a prototype, I would also send something else that I know that works, just in case. It is sent at a later time in case the t1000 failed, but because skynet is now deleted and when being sent back after the t1000 is destroyed, it creates a displacement field around the other terminator which basically resets it's switch and erases it's programming but not it's ability to learn. This would explain better why the terminator would find a family and raise it, instead of just going off and wandering around until it decided to have it's own thoughts. John should not have died and worked with his mother to prepare for any threat. Because anything like skynet can show up, even if it is deleted from the timeline. Dani, I feel would be a love interest for John, but was also revealed to be a freedom fighter who fights against Legion. Legion I feel wasn't explained in great detail. I would make it to where Legion is an ai, but comes from a different source. Namely other places with computer technology that is way beyond ours. It would be born in places like Area 51, where scientists use computer technology from alien ships that crash landed. It turns out to be sentient and want to truly help humanity by having all humans under processing and merging it's conscience with the ai to where they are all drones, unlike Skynet who wanted to destroy them all out of self defense, hence the name "Legion". It replaced all forms of government as it found them outdated and wanted to help humanity. Think of it as a combination of Helios and the Omar from Deus Ex. Or somewhat like the Borg, but controlled by an outside AI. Grace comes from this timeline and is sent back. But this time, it's the HEROE'S that get sent back first, to stop it from coming to it's existence. THEN it's Legion, who decides to sent the Rev 9 to upload it's programming in the past to solidify it's rule, after it obtained the tech needed for time travel. Legion is actually preferring not to have humans fight, despite being slaves, as it truly believes it is doing the right thing, so it creates it's own brand of terminators to hunt those who refuse to go through the process of merging their mind with the AI. Grace is the augment that is sent back and the T800 teams up with John, Sarah, Grace and Dani to fight off the Rev 9. This time, it's not so much of killing a savior, as Dani is not the savior because it did not beat Legion. They were just able to obtain the tech needed for time travel and Legion retaliated, and Grace wasn't really just sent to protect anyone but to go and stop Legion from existing in the first place. I feel this would have made it a more unique terminator film. What do you think?

I will not be ashamed to say this. I absolutely love this movie. Definately the best Terminator movie since Terminator 2, and I wish they would do a sequel to this. If they can connect this movie to Terminator Salvation then that'll make it even better. Plus, I absolutely love Terminator Carl

Terminator Dark Fate but its 90s sitcom

If they kept John alive, it would have just become repetitive. A nearly indestructible time traveling war machine sent to kill a child to prevent the rise of a human rebellion (does this not sound familiar at all?). John’s death was inevitable, and remember, *TIMELINES* are a thing in the Terminator franchise; millions upon millions of them. Apparently this was a timeline (with similar past experiences from the last two movies) in which a *female personage* played the role of *a* future resistance leader. There would always be a leader for the rebellion because fate decided it so.

Linda and Arnold absolutely carried this movie. There’s no contrary.

Can’t wait for him to do Jumanji the next level

No matter how the movie was, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger together will always be the best. Also Gabriel Luna killed the role of the Rev-9. He is super underrated and I'm glad he is getting the recognition he deserves as Tommy from The Last of Us.

I love this movie. I grew up obsessively watching the classic two installments. This is the real deal - a grand finale to the series, completing a story that spanned 35 years.

It was a nice movie, really enjoyed. Decent terminator movie with good characters and wise look on script.

The movie was actually better then expected. Compared to the rest which came after T2 this movie had an certain emotional core that was missing from previous movies. Also i get why people were upset with John's death but i totally understand it. It is to bad that by this time people were tired of the franchise and it didn't make the money needed for sequels. I felt like this movie had could potentially lead to a satisfying conclusion of the franchise.

Can any one else agree with me that Grace as a character was such a bad plot device, if you’re going to get someone that is the Kyle Reese kind of look alike character then don’t have her be so angry, there were many Kyle Reese rolls and they didn’t even get that angry it honestly just makes her a stupid character. And that’s why she’s stupid because it’s not just to one person she’s gets mad at everything and everyone and it’s dumb.
