There is no wrong version of Dimash performing this song, they are all different and unique and special in their own ways.

Why he isn’t better known? Some already explained it. He is an independent artist and doesn’t obey musical trends. I would explain it differently. Dimash is ready for the world, but the world isn’t ready for Dimash.

All of us "dears" consider him the best singer in the world right now, but you are right, I'm surprised so many people do not know who he is. For one thing, he doesn't produce DVDs for people to watch, unfortunately. My favorite of all is Ave Maria. Listen to it every day.

He's not achieved world domination because he remains an independent artist who refuses to kowtow to a record company who would control every aspect of his creative life. Which is good news for his Dears because we get to watch him evolve and explore every genre of music and get surprised by every time he has worked on a different part of his vocal register or a new sound. Being a Dear means a journey through music for musics sake, not being stuck within a genre. For example, I've never been a fan of jazz but when Dimash hit us with a new jazz funk rendition of an old Kazakh folk song, I found myself thoroughly enjoying a type of music that I swore I would never like.

Diva Dance best from Bastau. Dimash IS regarded best singer in the world and highly admired. He just spe t the last two months receiving top awards in China and Kazakhstn. His fans clubs cover the globe. He isnt so much in mainstream media because hes not owned. No ody runs his creative endeavors but him and the family production co and crew. I am glad. Hes special. Yes, it's the right version. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition in which he also performed The Diva Dance together with another awesome Italian song Confessa by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. The Bastau version is short but in my opinion muuuuch better. He was much more relaxed there because it was his concert and no competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. This song was written for an alien opera singer in the 5th Element and was not considered singable for a human voice. Parts of it were computer generated. There a some female singer who performed this song, but in my opinion not as precise as Dimash. And he is a male! You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. The context here is that the song is supposed to be "unsingable" by normal human beings. In the film it is sung by a blue alien lady and the vocals are partially computer generated, making it one of the most difficult song to sing apart from "Queen of the night". Ironically, Dimash covered that one as well, singing it in a hallway backstage as a joke. Truly mind-blowing.
