Hey Potters! This video is designed to guide you through the basic steps of the throwing process by audio instruction. I will be throwing right along with you for visual confirmation along the way, but the intent is that you can listen to the video as you are learning and practicing how to throw. I will not be guiding you towards a specific form but rather reminding you of what to do next if you forget! I hope this will help you through those moments of uncertainty when first throwing with no one else around to ask for help. I've got you! I'm quite new at this and am wondering if your fingers on the inside are higher than the hand on the outside. Thank you for sharing your skills.

Hello Hedie! Great question. I keep my pointer and middle finger tips at the same height as I move my hands up the walls. For the most part, the hands should be at even heights to pinch the clay in between the fingers and move the clay up and through the walls. Does this help? Keep potting!! Thanks for watching!
