The XM4s black and copper was nice but damn this TWX9 black and bronze makes it ones of the nicest looking buds

It's the quality of the bass and overall sound that puts the Audio-Technica in front of the others. That's not something I can pick up on your sound samples I wish you would consider playing some different tracks and let them play a little longer. But hey this is one of my favorite channels and you do a great job. Thanks again Aaron. 💯👍🇺🇸 One more thing if beginners are going to spend 300$ on their first set of earbuds we'll I don't recommend that. 😅

I compared TWX9 with Bang&Olufsen Beoplay EX - Audio Technica sounded much better And had more details and a wider stereo stage. B&W Pi7 Didn't like it, as they have a peak at upper frequencies. Sony Link buds S They sounded quite good, but there are fewer details than in TWX9. TWX9 sound best with eartips from Google Pixel Buds 2

Sonicfoam tips are also quite nice on them if you’re into memory foam, makes the bass hit better too:)

My first pair of audio products was a cheap Audio-Technica on ear wired headphones. I only bought them because I had online classes. In my opinion, UV cleaning in earbuds is just a gimmick to me. It’s not like I’m sharing the earbuds with anyone else other than myself. That’s just my opinion. I think the most important part to clean is the eartips since they go in the ear. Great comparison and review Aaron!

Wrong any ear wax or any bacteria that is in your ear canal when you pulled the earbuds out can germinate while they're in your holder carrier on the floor on the table wherever they are you put those back in your ear you run the risk of getting an infection UV light will kill 99% of all germs

im actually willing to try it because my current earbuds cause a terrible itching after an hour or so of use.. not sure if it will help me but im willing to try anything at this point 😄

That may be true, however there have been times where I've accidentally dropped an earbud or it fell out so it would be nice to know that I'm still safe from ear infection if it falls in a public area or something

I just got them, i sell the Sony M4 and the Freebuds Pro 2, tuned by me audiophile, with Tidal Music and FiiO M11 Plus and This ATH-TWX9 are excelent

@@r.j.katzroy They have BT compressión because the BT, but if you have the APTX Adaptive compatible device the ATH sounds 16bit 48kHz or float 24bit 96kHz i have the Sony Xperia 1IV, in my FiiO the codec is APTX , the move by Tidal all master/flac Max quality is limited to Hi-Fi 16bit 48kHz, remember that this Adaptive tech comes with the first Snapdragon 8gen1 chipset, but Of you can buy them, this TWS sounds exquisites in all Generes and the app it's one of the best, you can EQ them, i like flat sound, so i move the EQ to make them sound flat as possible, but if you are bass head you can make them go real hard, trust them ATH knows.

Freebuds pro 2 huawei? The low sector is better , this twx9? I'm using freebuds 2 pro now, even sony wf1000xm5 still can't beat my fb2

@@r.j.katzroy They have BT compressión because BT tech but they respect the Snapdragon Sound 16bits 44.1khz, and all the Tidal sound MQA/Max-Flac it's all represent in Hi-Fi quality

@@Bluelovebird69 I Like the X9 sound, for me the quality sounds exquisite, the Freebuds have a very close sound without much detail i had to tune them to make bigger the sound stage, the sound stage in the X9 is way more open compared to the huawei's, then Sony is made for heavy bass users, both MX5 sounds horrible, im analythical flat listener sooo the X9 makes me happy when im on the go, but i always prefer the classic cable Sivga Oriole, V-Moda M200, but if you like the Pro2 you can't enjoy those i mention, you still need to hear carefully, you are not ready for the expensive audiophile BT Sound, less with the flat classic cable sound, but if you like cheap unnatural common sound good for you, keep enjoying them, that's tour choice

Bought those. Couldn't get it to update to get multi-point. Was so pissed off, sent them back. Otherwise very good wireless earbuds.

Oh btw Aron, you are the only youtube that I trust. So I listen to metal and I force my phone to run 900khz with my Sony (you can do that in developer options) But I reach a point that I feel guitars are kinda noisy Do I turn off dolby atmos in my samsung phone ? Or leave it on Whenever I turn it off It feels like sound is scattered not focused Also what equaliser sittings to use ? I only listen to metal and rock with some disco and classical bethooven and other composers How to figure out the best sound sittings from both my phone and my 1000xm4 ?

A lot of people describes the x9 as quite open and wide compared to others. Very surprised at the 'narrowness' you feel.

The bose sounds extremely good with a little eq, bit less bass and more mid and high. And the anc is just mind-blowing for earbuds

Wearing earphones is bad for your own hygiene, since wearing them increases moisture build up and accumulates ear wax that would otherwise be cleared, same way sitting wearing tight shoes without socks can make your feet smelly as your feet sweat a lot

Thanks for the video! Very informative as usual. How I feel about these buds is all relative to the cost. So until I know the cost I can't say how I feel about these earbuds. The one thing that stands out right away to me .....is that case is way too big and doesn't give a lot of charge in return...and the app is not even close to some of it's competitors.

Horrible battery life , I purchase 2 months back only get 3 hours battery had them replaced still 3 hours , I like my oneplus buds pro 2 better , They are best looking earbuds on mark Anc is amazing but drains battery life 2 hours.

You should have added the price in the cons. Seriously, I dream of a pair of earbuds with this design à la Airpods Pro, a case like that of the Airpods Pro or Jabra Elite 4/5, and the touch and button controls of these Audio-Technica with just the quality of $70-$100 earbuds (Earfun Air S, JBL Live Pro 2, 1MORE Comfobuds Pro...) on all other points, but above all with the quality of Earfun Air S microphones in phone calls.

@@iseptimus For me, and I mean for me, for any earbuds, costing more than $200 is a con. These products, unlike headphones, cannot be repaired and are good for disposal after a maximum of 3 years.

IMO ATH: It's sharp at high pitch and the music is not collected. B&O Pi S2: The best!! Dense and Complete (Benchmark). Airpods Pro 2: Lacks high volume, more matured but not punchy! (Not for Audiophile) Senheisser Momentum 3: Hollow sound, as if something stole the heart from beats, lacks punch and beats. Boss QC 2: Just about high volume, everything seems on steriods. Sony 1000XM4s: Still the king, as they could even match to B&O PiS2 and since they're even close to what B&O are producing, that's certainly praise worthy!

I tried to buy the Samsung's new buds but yea was too expensive in my country and it's not worth it because I have the sony wf1000xm4 and I know I won't use samsung Since I am used to very high quality wf1000xm4 I am so sad that samsung can't make ear buds -_- !

@Desmond Mitchell You can't beat LDAC Maybe you just psychologically like it but it's not a real-life case. If you like the editifier then keep using it but I do like top notch quality and ANC. Maybe Quality more than ANC too.

Who gives a rat's ass about ANC on a set of earbuds. They're for listening to music their passive ear blocking that's all you need to hear your music your music will drown out everything else the book you're listening to will round out everything else ANC is a gimmick that's all it is, most headsets or earphones that you have that have ANC changed the musical value when you turn it on anyway. I'll put my non 8 and c Noble focused pro twos up against anything the sound quality is unreal that's what you want to eat earbud for you want anc get over the ear cans
