I've had this issue come up again and tried a few other suggestions in the comments such as: - holding the stop/start button - repeatedly pressing start/stop - toggling reverse/forward function what ultimately worked was: - turn the device on - hold the stop/start button - unplug the AC adapter, wait a few seconds, plugging it back in - release the stop/start button instruction manuals: manuals.plus/?s=audio-technica+Turntable

This worked great! I had to do it 4-5 times, including unplugging the power from the wall. The turn table is spinning now! Thanks!

This fixed my same turntable. Had to flip to reverse after it did start to spin in forward, then I held the Stat/Stop button and it took off. Put it back in forward and it works (for now) . Thanks!

I think I was in a similar situation where I haven't used the turnable in months and suddenly it stopped spinning. Seems unbelievable but quickly pressing the START/STOP button multiple times worked for me.

Held or 1 minute on my AT-LP120XUSB and it worked thank you.

I fixed it a different way as this method did not work. Unplug the turntable from the unit, not the wall. Replug in 5 minutes, and ensure turntable is on phono, not line in (on the back). turn back on and spin the turntable counterclockwise for about 19-15 revolutions. Then spin counterclockwise. turn on 33/45 together and hit start. Bingo. Go back to 33. I switched back on to line out as I use a Sonos Port to this device with RCA cables. I'm a genius.

Had this problem a year ago. Tapping or holding the button worked for a few weeks. But after a while all stopped. Send it to a local repair store and it came back working fine. It worked for like 7 or 8 months and I'm back with the same problem... It still works when I tap a few times, but I'm just waiting for the day it'll all stop again. Very lame design by AT.

None of these worked for me, but what did work was to hold down 33 and 45 for 1 minute. Then leave it and see if it still spins. Then hit 33.

I have a Numark TT -1510 Belt Drive Turntable (which you know is basically the same layout) I was about to give up and purchase another turn table, then I found your video held the start / stop for 30 seconds and the plater started turning, thank you for the tip, though it seems I have to do it every time I want to play my vinyl, would finding a way to get some switch cleaner in the start / stop not solve this problem? In a fit of pissedness and trying everything listed I hammered on the start and stop switch like it was going in the garbage anyway and it started working and Jim Morrison filled the room with light my fire

Having the same problem but this did nothing. UGH! Luckily the unit is still under warranty but they will want me to pay shipping!
