It's a smaller production but with a bigger cast. It tells the story of one of Ludlov's most harrowing cases and it deals with family secrets, strange creatures and perilous adventures in the woods...
SUMMARY:
Still mourning his mentor, Ludlov is more determined than ever to destroy The Black Sickle, the evil cult that he's convinced killed Adomir. It's the same cult that killed his beloved wife Maria years ago. A seemingly innocent white witch, Samina, seems to know more about this organisation. Can he gain her trust and pursuade her to share this information before she is sentenced?

I feel like I'm watching a movie rather than listening to an audio book. The amount of detail captures me in such a way I can't stop listening so far I've listened to two videos without pause or break! Can't wait to hear more and I'll hate it when I'm finished.

Loving this so far! The music is absolutely beautiful, the voice acting superb - and for the most part I've enjoyed the writing. My only point in this chapter is that I found it unfortunate that the first encounter with female characters is first a sick + dying old lady followed by a younger woman who has her mother die and then with no time to grieve - is put into a stone cell with a chain on her ankle (that strips all her power as a mage) to be interrogated by men....😭 felt a bit degrading and hard to hear. However my partner enthusiastically encouraged me to continue listening as he assures me it gets better and that there are strong female characters + I will like the story. I'm really looking forward to that, and just wanted to say that as I know constructive feedback is helpful. I'm truly spellbound and can tell this is going to be nuanced + a deeply moving story. ❤

Thanks for your comment! Though it is clearly inspired by the look and feel of Warhammer fantasy, it's not set in its universe. But there will indeed be more stories in the same world as Witch Hunter and The Beast of the Western Wilds.

There will be more stories in the future. First we're going to expand the world of Hruda (i.e. the world of Witch Hunter). Next we'll be expanding on the universe of 'The Infinite Woods' (i.e. the world of The Will of the Woods), then... who knows... We still have many outlines lying around, an adventurous story in space amongst others. We might do that. Our channel is a box of chocolates. Don't forget to subscribe if you want to stay tuned.

No, though it might be inspired by it. The writer is a fan of the fantasy RPG universe, but an even bigger fan of Tolkien's work.
