How does it compare to the Hifi Rose 201E I can see in the background, sound quality wise?

@@Studioincar I would assume that the Omnia - especially with the limited Play-fi app - will have a run for the (expensive) money from the 201E. My question comes from, not the interface (that the Hifi Rose is a reference of), but concerning the perceived differences from the D-amp of the 201E to the AB-amp of the Omnia. How objective can one be on amp qualification to discern a downside (either way)? Is it worth the downsides on the interface, to bet on the AB-amp superiority? Furthermore to weigh in on the Hifi Rose side, there's : 1/ an internal SSD slot to build a resident (but detachable) music library 2/ the feature of FLAC rip cd's to the internal SSD drive or a flash pen, from an external cd player 3/ reading cd's (as the Omnia) with an external cd player 4/ 4k video out for tv or projector 5/ specific apps like RoseTube and others

@@xicofaria I recently bought a Marantz model 30 class D amp, very disappointed, the presentation is tilted toward to HF and the HF tonal balanced is on the cool side. I am returning the model 30 even that cost me $93 USD to ship it back. Class D amps is not ready for people that came from tube amps.

Thanks for a great review. Here's a couple of questions for you: 1) Is there a separate output socket to connect to a subwoofer? 2) Will the display show album art if you are planning from a network drive or streaming service?

The 6000A incorporsted the basic ES9018KTM Mobile Version DAC chip whereas the Omnia features the ES9038QTM. Have you duscerned any improvements in tonal balance, technical perfirmance?

Always enjoy your comments and reviews. Do you think it is enough current to pair with Dynaudio Special 40s? Small room and not excessively loud volume most of the time. Appreciate your feedback.

Great review. The first one on this product to my knowledge. 6000a + 6000n + 6000CDT, in one box? The combo, would total to about 1500 pounds. In my opinion, by keeping it as a one-box solution at 1600 pounds and assuming no quality loss, it can be a killer product. This amp+dynaudio Evoke 20 or buchardt S400 and I might be set for the long run. I believe you have a Hegel phonostage and a pretty solid Turntable. Is the phonostage on this product good enough, let´s say for a Rega 3 or Project evo pro? I don´t see myself going any further than that. Maybe, and that is a big maybe, upgrade the cartridge to a ortofon bronze. Best

@@Studioincar tks for the feedback. Argons are a little over my budget. The evokes would already be a stretch. Ideal for me os something around 1.8k usd.

Hey guys! When I listen to a CD or watch TV with the Omnia, the network search light still flashes. Is there no way to turn this off? Thanks for your reply.

You'll have to get in touch with your dealer and ask them. We haven't got one set up at the moment.

Play-Fi doesn't do gapless though.

Battery life of phone goes fast with play fi. No gappless? Come on.. its 2021! Big concerts, dj sets it is quiet for 5 sec🤦🏻♂️ Old skool interface.. connection stops when you leave the room. Its a Nice unit but play fi sucks! Big time.

Good review. I haVe a couple of Audiolab components (6000cdt ans M-DAC+). I find it interesting but it’s all eggs on one basket so not for me.

@@deepee1544 I wouldn’t assume that - personally I really disliked the entry level Hegel in my system, I had an audio lab m-one come back from repair and found it infinitely better. With my speakers, room etc etc the Hegel just didn’t work for me…
