Thank you for sharing your audio experiences with us… will be interesting to see how it compares to the Arcam. I recently sold my Arcam which I was very happy with and replaced it with one of the newer class D power amps with the purifi module. This is next level in my humble opinion and also very affordable like the Arcam…however you need to use separates, I.e. CD transport and seperate DAC streamer…. I very much enjoy your channel content..

@@DigitalPhilosophers thank you . The amp uses the 1ET400A EIGENTAKT module. It is implemented by a company called March Audio based in Australia where I live., but as you would know there are few companies around the world using this technology… and it is of course European technology….

It was a very nice video! Loved the appearance of parrot ❤ I have some questions tho - how actually is Omnia when it comes to user experience and using streaming (Spotify)? Does the screen present the logo every time Omnia is turned on or can it be entirely skipped/disabled? Are there any leds/diodes on/flashing during playback or normal usage? Can Omnia be awakened by Spotify? Can I just start playing music via Spotify on Omnia directly, or do I need any third party app for that? With some other integrated amps with streaming it’s just super easy and boils down to max 2 “clicks”. Thanks and looking forward to more videos!

Thank you! Parrot thanks you too 😊 Right now (end of January 2023) you can not wake up the Omnia using the app. You have to use the remote or the Omnia itself. Yes, the logo is presented every time you turn the Omnia on. While playing you can turn off the screen BUT it is not completely turned off like the 6000 A Play can be. The Omnia just dims the screen to a minimum. I wish I could turn the screen of completely. When the screen is in full brightness mode two or three leds are shining white as a rest of the first animation when turning on. One good thing about the software is the implementation of spotify and even tidal into the control center of the iPhone. That works flawlessly. With some other streamers (especially the ones that rely on google chromecast) are not implemented into apples i-devices control center so I always have to go into the streaming services app

Btw, have you had the chance to try the Technics SA-C600? (You did mention something about the lack of toroidal transformer in the other Technics meant that it needed a lot of volume to get good.) Just curious as on the one hand, it's THD is apparently high, ~1% and yet Whathifi and some reviewers have mentioned that it beats the Marantz pm7000n in soundstage and imagining, and even gets very close to the Omnia.) It's a rather new product so not too many reviews, and is approximately 50%~60% cheaper than the Omnia, hence I'm quite curious, could be a steal.

I’m torn between the Omnia and the Arcam SA20 at the moment. The Arcam has great reviews but the look of it..not that I listen with my eyes, but it would take some getting used to. How did you find the sound quality comparatively between the two?

Great question. Because both sound very different in my experience/room/setup. Please try both with the pair of speakers the amp will end up with! The Arcam sounds warmer without any doubt. The Audiolab more transparent and neutral/linear. It. REALLY depends on your speaker. With my Vela 403.2 I get a quicker sound top to bottom with the Omnia. The SA20 makes the Vela sound lusher top to bottom with a bit of a upper bass/ lower mids bump. Even if it might be fussy for you I would almost urge you to give both a chance to keep the one that matches better with your speaker/to your taste. In my opinion there is simply no better way. Reading the opinions of others is interesting but not the real deal.

I guess you mean 803 As far as I know the AVM 2.3 etc. are the only all in ones including all streaming services and CD. If there wasn’t the lack of room compensation they would be complete
