I came across this video by accident, and I agree with your review. I recently found a pair of these for usd25. The performance is really good, with very flat response, just like good reference/monitor headphones, which is very good. Everything sounds good, neutral, and balanced through them. Are they "audiophile" quality? No, but they are very close, and for the price you can't go wrong. The example I found has a 05/2017 sticker on them, so they must have been sitting at the shop for a while. I would compare these S100's with the wired Apple "EarPods". I am not jamming these headphones into a backpack or anything like that. Just for home use. So I cannot comment on long term durability when abused. But for the price, the plastic material looks and feels good.

Is the cable sturdy enough? My ath clr 100 cable broke in around 6 months! Hope it is decent on this.
