Amazing how good the stories are in these old westerns. Bob Steele's movies are among the most satisfying westerns, always absorbing and a pleasure to watch. Loved the ending too.

What a great Western and story plot; and an excellent, touching ending. Bob Steele has always been one of my favorite actors, so sincere, and his dad was a wonderful director and story writer.

What a stellar review from glensten. I love to see the grace with which Bob kept his career going. "The Big Sleep" with Bogart. Always with the Duke.

Wonderful story with great acting by all. Great to see Earl Dwire, a good friend of Bob Steele and very familiar face in these early westerns. Julian Rivero was actually Shakespearean trained and played a big role in these American classics. Lest I forget Si Jenks, one of the best sidekicks ever and Josie Sedgwick who opened a talent agency after her acting career.

Thank you for posting this in such a way that the film is NOT interrupted every seven minutes with two 6-second 'blipverts.' "What is a 'blipvert,' you ask? It was part of the genius of 'Max Headroom', but on much of youtube it has spread like kudzu (minus its health giving property), and the infestation should be tamped down. Thank you for whatever you do to prevent that. This is really one of Bob Steele's best!

Kind of a different ending than usual. But just as sweet.
