Really dig ur video, sounds great for just 4 mics…. This is what I want to try for a live performance. I’m trying to keep the micking simple I have a 4 piece kits been doing research and watching KZfaq videos….this is exactly what I’m looking for going to try it. How do the scx1 overheads compare to the adx 51s? I can't find a video or demo anywhere of the scx1s being used.

Cool on the kik, but I know you've tried using 2 kik mics, what about telling everyone else about that.. But excellent vid, I sent it to a friend who is learning to produce!

Which mic clip are you using on the audix i5?

That's a huge mic. I use a kick drum clip to hold it on my snare.

The mic clip is the Audix D-Vice mic clamp. It's got a gooseneck on it.
