As we study who is there and why, we see how this is still relevant today and consider how we also respond to Jesus and what He did on the cross.

Am I an older folk because I remember 911? 🥹😂 Brett's story about his Mom reading the Bible cover to cover in about a month's time is a reminder to us all that the Bible can be and needs to be read...all the way through & over & over. The more you read it the more there is to be found. ♥

This was such a good service, thank you pastor Brett. And you’re right, being Christian isn’t easy. My darkest time was when my dad who I consider my best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given 3-6 months to live. I turned to Jesus. I cried out to Him every single day. To the point Jesus has truly changed my heart and I was willing to let my dad go finally, and within days he died. I’m now more stronger in Christ than ever. My dad’s cancer was the darkest time while simultaneously the biggest blessing… not only to me but my dad was also saved shortly before he died. I could go on and on… I’m just so thankful how Jesus pulled me out of the dark…

If the thief met Christ in heaven, why did Christ tell Mary 3 days later: touch me not, for I have not ascended to my Father? Is "Paradise" heaven? Or is "Paradise" a place for those that died before the Resurrection of Jesus Christ to wait in the spirit for the first resurrection?

Refuting an atheist is fruitless. Instead, ask them when and how they came to that conclusion. Ask them what they find so repulsive about Jesus. Asking more questions will get you to the root of the rot, and then you can remove it, and sow the seed of salvation.

I had a business associate for a few years who was much older than I and who rejected the Truth of the Gospel over and over. He mocked my faith. One day I took a pencil and piece of paper and turned it toward him and asked him to write out what he believes about creation. He couldn’t do it. Or wouldn’t. He said he’d deal with that when he died. He thought he had a lot longer to live since his parents are approaching 100. In the last several months he lost his mind and died. He thought Scripture was nonsense. He knows it’s not nonsense now. I shudder…
