I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Yeah, it’s cheaper in France at the moment as well. I think it has to do with the conversion rates because the prices on her website can vary a lot from month to month. Also, Mothership X didn’t have any baked shade either and I don’t remember reviewers saying anything about it 😕

The ND I need a nude palette is so good. It was quite interesting to see how positive the response was in comparison with the latest Pat McGrath palette. I really hope PMG takes note.

If the ND palette were beige I would completely agree with you but it’s not. Although I also don’t want a beige palette from PMG so I guess you have a point? What I’m looking for is cooler toned neutrals

@@jcbroadw It's beige to people with darker skintones. Different hues of beige. If PML is going to make a beige pallette, then she'd better make something that could be called nude for darker people first. Even ND did that, though calling anything nude in 2023 is questionable.

Thanks for clarifying about the Chanel highlighters. There is hope for us here then. My favorite item last month, and shocking one at that, has been the Lancome eyeshadow formula. What a revelation! Not PML sparkle level, but one can certainly feel the hand of Lisa Eldridge in there (she is the creative director for Lancome beauty, just to clarify).

I knew I’d see Natasha Denona and Pats palettes! I do prefer the ND nude by far. The Shiseido foundation looks and sounds really nice from reviews so far, plus I quite like the way it has skincare and spf in it for a daily use foundation. I wish it wasn’t as expensive as it is, but I love Japanese brands so would love to try it at some point. Loving the Harry Potter mug btw :)

hi Charlotte yes i need a nude palette is stunning its taken over my number 1 in my collection of natasha Denona collection , absolutely beautiful. before it was Glam , i adore it ,to me its my neutral palette. i can’t tell you how much i love it , so this month i have bought my skin care up graded from estee lauder Re-nutriv diamond it costs a fortune but when your mature you definitely need to upgrade your skin care so i have been using this fir three months now and the difference is amazing so thank you estee i love it . so now i have the full collection and i feel beautiful when i put on my lotion and potions at night . morning is a much lighter version.

Such a fantastic list 😃always love hearing you talk about your fragrances 🙂 This past month my favorites are mostly older products that I’ve only recently tried with only 2 newer products i believe: Current holy grail base product combination that I’ve only just started using as a combination this past month: tatcha liquid silk canvas primer, haus labs foundation, nars soft matte complete concealers, hourglass veil translucent setting powder Newer products i have loved over the past month : nars light reflecting eye brightener/corrector ND i need a nude palette will hands down go in my September favorites list at the end of this month / the beginning of next month

Tatcha Hinoki products are so good and Hinoki is very healing I find (I use a hinoki balm from Chidoruya for lip sores) treating inflammation and relieving stress. I'm with you on it being worth the splurge

I alway look forward to these videos! Curious how the blushes and highlighter from the HG Snake palette compare to the PML Bridgerton blush “hat box” palette. Are they close-ish? I know you’ve mentioned before that your fragrance videos don’t do as well as the makeup ones, but would really love a video on your favourite colder weather fragrances for the upcoming months. Your fragrance recommendations always hit for me, I’ve found some amazing gems through your videos. I would have never heard of Matiere Premiere if it wasn’t for you and found Crystal Saffron which is now a go to for me, along with some Xerjoff. I know you have some followers who feel the same as me ❤

I'm loving the Gucci concealer and the HG Snake palette (I absolutely agree with EVERYTHING you said regarding their choice of highlighters). I bought both shades of the Chanel blushers and I'm literally besotted with them, I really appreciate how different they are from each other. I'm also thoroughly enjoying the Chanel Vénitienne quad - well done Chanel 👏 I'm liking the Dior Beige Couture (523) quint, but I must admit that I much prefer their old formulas. I'm very tempted to get the Shiseido foundation you mentioned in this vid. As I adore the Surratt Phyto Teint foundation, which is has a very light coverage, I think I'll like this particular one by Shiseido. Love ya, ❤❤❤❤

Hi Charlotte, If you would like a bit more coverage but almost undetectable on skin, try the Clé de Peau cushion natural foundation. It is so seamless but perfecting on the skin. Does not collect on my saggy skin and dilated pores. (mature skin friendly) It is expensive but if I would have only one foundation, this one would be it. :)

Oh no, the first two items, you got me already. BK Beauty bag, brilliant, plus I love their brushes. Then you mentioned Tatcha and my little ears went bing…I’m scared to continue the video. My skin doesn’t like the magic cream and a couple of other skincare but this lighter one may suit.

Hi Charlotte I agree with you 100% about the Montale Infinity it has no longevity or even smell and disappears on the skin. I had two testers for Infinity so did not spend the money to be disappointed. I bought Intense Cafe instead hope that will have a depth of smell. Love love love the I need a nude from ND and the Snake palette from HG🙋‍♀️❤️

I’m so happy that you’ve tried Lisa J’s new bag (BK Beauty)! She is a small business owner out of Austin, Texas, and is an amazing entrepreneur and woman! Her bag, plus the ND Nude palette, are my favorites this month for certain. Have you seen/tried the new eyeliners from Lisa Eldridge yet? I believe they only just debuted, but I ordered 3 of the colors and received them today. I haven’t played with them on my eyes yet, but I did quick swatches with Coffee Bean, Antique Gold, and Night Forest. Hi, Charlotte! I love everything you do, and I love your aesthetic. A while back in a video, you added a touch of bright green in the inner corners of your eyes. I should have stopped and complimented you then (I was on vacation and was unplugged). I wanted you to know how nice that looked, and I thought it was great that you jumped outside your comfort zone! You always look beautiful in your "boring neutrals," as you put it (I don't think it's boring at all!), but I bet you would look great in colorful eyeshadows, too. I would love to see some blue or blue-gray looks on you. I think we have similar coloring, although you're a few shades darker olive than me, so looks for blue eyes and olive complexion would help me a bunch! :)

I adore the new Natasha pallette i would love a slightly warmer one in the midi a la Biba ish . I tried a lip colour i am in LOVE with Enable by Givenchy its a velvet however it wears off before i can get back from the poeder room ugghh. Its a brownish base tinged with a peachy pink and i have a HUGE lipstick collection but nothing like this. I love it but am mad 😠 at it

100% agree on Dior lipsticks. Also by the end of the day my lips start to feel dry and shrink wrapped and it crumbles. Not to mention I spilled half the bottle on myself. 😩

Love all of your picks from this month, Charlotte! The Hourglass palettes rarely disappoint and Katie Scott's artwork - wow 😍 Being a brush lover and hoarder, I am also very taken with the BK Beauty brush holder. The design seems very well thought through and is not something I have seen anyone else doing. Oh and the Gucci concealer ❤ I don't think I have seen one negative review yet and although it may seem pricey, I often find that a good concealer can last for a long, long time. My Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat has lasted me at least 2 years and no, I don't care if it might have expired. If I am paying ££££ for a product, I am using every last drop! One very shocking negative for me this month has been the Natasha Denona I Need a Nude palette. I know! 😳 I love, love, love Natasha D palettes and this one is a beauty. It is everything I wanted and dreamed of...to look at. I love the colour story, the tones, the balance of mattes and shimmers and metallics. However...shock horror...I got a dud! I am in the UK, ordered from a reputable retailer and I got a palette where at least 50% of the shades have so little pigment that even laying down swatch over swatch over swatch yields barely the faintest hint of colour. Finger swatches, brushes, I have tried it all. I have not heard anyone else talking about this so maybe I just got that one in 50 million but I'd love to know if there is anyone else out there got a palette with serious quality issues. I have many of Natasha's palettes, midi, mini and larger and I have never had a single issue until this one. I love them all and I want to love this one but... I could cry seeing everyone else's swatches and feedback because I know it would be my favourite of all of her palettes. 😭 Yes, I have raised it with the retailer who are investigating! 🕵‍♀

I was influenced by you to try Montale perfumes, so I ordered ten samples to find my match...So far I have liked Arabians tonka (smells like warm toffee to me) and Crazy in love (smells intoxicating)...my husband likes all three I gave to him. The best in my opinion were Wood & spices and Oud tobacco on him. The best a woman can do is to give a good perfume to his man and then just enjoy his company!☺

I also would prefer the gold packaging for the Hourglass palettes. However, since they often repromote new shades, I think they are giving something packaging wise, which makes sense. I didn't like those of last year at all, the newer ones are mostly nice. I think Chanel does that thing of "they're not coming" so that when they finally pop up people rush to get them thinking it may be a glitch or something. Pretty pathetic if that's the case, I must say. I have been on the fence about the new Dior lipsticks. I think I will wait it out.

Immediately ordered the snake palette after your review Still waiting for it to arrive, but as for the highlight, I have one of Hourglass previous palettes with the super metallic strobe highlight formula and wasn't really using it on the cheek until I recently got some squirrel brushes - it makes a world of a different in pickup and application (also with other very pigmented/intensely shimmery powders, and with all over/undereye powder in general). If you're not in the market for one, I'd probably dip into the finishing powder first and then lightly tap into the highlighter to get a softer finish from it, I think it might do the trick, not as diffused and soft as a squirrel brush but worth a try :) thank you for always delivering fast, reliable and fun to watch reviews! have a great week

@@lesliehatch-herman9325 It depends on the brand, but I typically get my brushes from either Fude Japan (not to be confused with Fude Beauty, although they carry the same brands), CDJapan, Hakuhodo USA or Beautylish. hope you'll have luck with this technique :)

Thank you for pointing out the sticky weirdness with the Dior lip lacquers. That's one of my "things" when it comes to lip products. I hate it! Ugh just makes my skin crawl. It's actually why I returned the Fenty lip product, the first one that launched. I loved the color but that texture was NOT IT. Thank you for saving me from purchasing the Dior. Taking those off my wishlist right now

WARNING! The Dior liquid lacquer can spill out of the tube. I was in Sephora (in France 😎) recently and wanted to try out some of the colours (well only one) as I went to apply a swatch to my hand, at the same time tilted the tube over and sploosh, a puddle of 720 appeared on the floor as if by magic, narrowly missing my blouse. I don’t know if it was just the heat, although there was AC, but rather embarrassing to say the least!

Completely agree, Lisa said they were suitable for oily eyelids (which I need) but I swatched them on my arm, waited 5 minutes and they still smudged badly. Don’t hold out much hope when I try them on my eyes! Can anyone recommend a liner which really is smudge proof?

You are not imagining anything about the Dior liquid lipstick - it is sticky as hell 😂. I got the color 100 and I, like you love the color and how it looks on my lip - but I have blotted it, tapped it, and nothing takes away that stickiness which I hate with a passion!

I left Las Vegas this morning. I got into the elevator / Lift on the 27th floor wearing Killian Don’t be shy. At the lobby floor the man in the elevator with me said he had really enjoyed smelling me all 27 floors. 😂😅😂.
