One suggestion. If you make 2 bottoms and insert a plastic circle, same size between them, before stitching sides in place, it would give the purse more shape.

Hi there I'm a beginner in crocheting. I just started crocheting the middle of last year. I don't know how to follow a pattern. I was just looking at Facebook and I started seeing these tutorials showing how to crochet and make all different crochet items. Some were easy and some looked pretty hard. I saw one where they were making a blanket by using the granny squares and it was just a repeat til you finished the blanket. I like that so I gave it a try. I made a blanket for all my family and 2 friends and they live them so much. I have been looking for a video on how to make a bag, and I just couldn't find one til I just came across your it looks so easy. So I'm going to give that a try. I'll be making a bag for all my family and friends. I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing this tutorial with everyone that watches your tutorials. You make it so simple and I hope my will come out as beautiful as the one you made. Again thanks for sharing this tutorial.
