It has been exactly two-weeks since I started this challenge and wanted to give you an update on the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. Unfortunately, my 50 year old, rosacea prone, moody af : ) skin did not get on with this cream. I had to discontinue use due to a rosacea outburst. NOW- this does not mean this cream is not 'amazing'- it just did not work for my skin. Please take a peek at what I learned and how I soothed my rosacea outburst. THANK YOU for coming on this skin care adventure with me and I am sorry that I don't have better results to share with you. My skin is PICKY! So again, just because this did not work for me does not mean that it won't work for you. I would recommend getting a sample ahead of time before shelling out the BIG BUCKS!

I'm so conflicted now! I was getting ready to purchase both the cream and rich cream. I've found that Dr. Hauschka products have helped with my rosacea the most... but I need my luxury fix. I'm combination/moody (only nose is oily) with light rosacea.... im very milia prone. I started using the p50 1970 and my skin actually likes it, but I feel it may be bad for my rosacea.... have you had this problem?

Jason- for some reason my rosacea skin has not had any issues with the P50's in varying strengths. I have had a bit of purging when I first started with it but not necessarily rosacea. I totally get the LUXURY FIX and really wanted this cream to work for me. I only got the RICH CREAM and am wondering if maybe the CREAM would have been better for me? Some have commented that the RICH CREAM includes a few things such as essential oils + shea butter that might have been the culprit for me. I honestly did not find it very moisturizing. I would love to find a place where you can get a nice sample of the cream to try first. I had to order mine. Sorry... I am realizing I am not helping you much. xoxo

No you absolutely are. I'm wondering now if I should use the Bader like a serum and top with vitamin c serum and a face oil or moisturizer before sunscreen. I can't bring myself to do a 2 step anything--I don't believe in it LOL

I do think think the Bader would totally work as a serum and I would maybe see how it goes topped with a face oil/moisturizer and then sunscreen first. And then add the Vitamin C if you feel you really need it. It totally think the Bader works as a serum and is very FIRMING. It was just not hydrating enough for my dry skin. And yes, I am a total skin care ritual junkie so the 2 Step is not that appealing to me : )

Abby-Well I've stopped using for a consecutive amount of days-For me it is hydrating, meaning when I put it on it looks like I smeared butter on my face ;) A gloss like finish and my face does feel soft however I *think* I might have gotten some bumps-I haven't used all week so I might try again once after Thanksgiving-I see it has lactic acid in it, I know that gives me trouble sometimes...so I had to use Serum Iribiol to get rid of the lingering bumps and only using BR products that work for me-Again, a do it all cream is not the answer for all-Those celebs that endorse this, they are blessed with $$$$$ to get a ton of treatments so this cream is not reversing their aging, their money and contacts are doing that! ;) I do see that AB is selling an even small size of this...too late for us right?

@@WindyCityGatorGirl that is good that it is at least hydrating for you but I hate the fact that you got some bumps. UGH! I agree-the marketing got to me and those stars have all sorts of treatments done so their skin is glowing and gorgeous. I just laugh because although I am old enough to know that there is not ONE miracle cream out there- I am still intrigued by the idea of it. I am really enjoying all the BR products I am using because my skin is not upset with me. They seem nourishing but effective. I am so sorry this was a not a winner- winner like we thought it would be. And yes, of course they came out with the small size after we purchased the BIG DADDY. Keep me posted on your final thoughts. xoxo

I think quitting halfway was a mistake. Although I trust how you felt about your skin, I still think you threw water and baby off the window way too soon... I can only judge from the video, but already at the 5 days mark your skin looked much better and your whole face looked younger.

Ahh.. I so wanted to like the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream but it triggered a rosacea outburst and when I get those kind of outbursts- I have to discontinue use of anything that contains retinol/or other irritating ingredients and go back to basics. I had high hopes but just could not continue once I woke up with red bumps and dry irritated skin. BUT thank you for watching and I appreciate your kind words. xoxo

@@xtian384 i have used Vintner's Daughter before. I think I have bought two bottles and do love it. I am just a skincare junkie and have to check out the new stuff : ) But that is on my list to get again once I use up some of my current stash. xoxo
