Well, she did marry him for a reason. (His backstory from the light novel shows he was a great man, but his hatred for demi-humans is what cause his fall.)

@@PhineasKSliderVT He is definitely a bad man. You don't judge someone based off of others that have nothing to do with them. You don't allow people who don't exist anymore to control your emotions especially in a place of power. He tried his best to make sure naofumi fails. Far from a good person

@@masterpills I suppose you have a point. I could counter that despite everything, Mirellia still cares about this man... But that says more about her than it does about him. At any rate, I'm sure Aultcray's going to (attempt to) start making amends for his previous behavior very soon. Also, it's highly possible that he has been at least mildly manipulated by Malty, who seems to have this "gas-leak" effect on people that clouds their judgement (Best case example is Ren. He is certainly NOT stupid enough to buy her bull on a normal Tuesday, but she still somehow got inside his head, anyway.).

@@PhineasKSliderVT All the heros have proved time and time again they're stupid IMO. They are undoubtedly the worst part of the show I think besides shield. Yeah malty did help push him along but still the seed for a bad person was there all along.
