I am beyond ready to wash my hair and it is day three. My hair is dusty looking and has white dust-like residue falling from it. I would have to test these products again to see how they perform on their own or with other stylers.

I’ve tried the Aunt Jackie’s products,. The shampoo, conditioner, and gel on my wash day. I prepooed my hair with my diy oils before washing with the shampoo. The conditioner is amazing. However, I put in a cream leave in conditioner with my diy oils. Then I put on a cream butter with the gel to keep my hair from being dry from the gel. My hair came out amazing. Mixing the gel with the foam is kind of asking for trouble.

Your hair looks great...and it's growing. 🙂💯👍🏼 I've seen several videos on these products, but haven't added them to my buy & try list. The drying effects of the gel are a turnoff for me, but I may try the mousse.

Hey Linda! The Aunt Jackie’s Quench Leave In is an amazing hydrating leave in with amazing slip! Try using that up under the mousse and the gel! That leave in leaves my hair feeling soooo soft and hydrated! I have the mousse and the gel but I have yet to use it!

Thank you for your review I've tried her grapeseed oil and I love it and I also tried the flaxseed gel it did left my hair dry however I didn't use a mousse.

Aunt Jackie does have a leave in conditioner. It's called Quench moisture intensive leave in conditioner and it is excellent. Its extremely moisturising.

id say mix up the aunt Jackie products like i pre poo with the balance oil, then i shampoo the oh so clean i then deep condition with coco repair i have noticed that the coco butter cream makes my hair white so ima to leave that out and switch to the greenish quench leave in..then i use the curling custard when i use the curling on its own its dries out curls are defined just too dry, question can i use the curling custard in conjuction to the new mousse, as you said aunt jackies gels dries out our hair

I would try the mousse maybe, but I don’t need a drying gel in my arsenal😩. My hair needs a leave in. I love their Curl Boss😍, it’s one of my favorite stylers.

So since you felt dry on day 2, how did you remedy that? That you wash n go all over again or add moisture somehow without messing up the definition?

Tiresheka Stewart I just put my hair up in a high puff. I gelled my hair with the Eco Gold. I think that this line definitely needs a leave in with the gel.

@@LindaLynn93 the leave-in missing in this line is in the new Aloe and Mint collection. Exactly the same viscosity and smell as Grapeseed Rescued.

Idk about that gel. I want to try the line, but their don't shrink gel had my hair snowing with all the damn flaking from the gel. I can't understand why they didn't come out with a leave-in

Your hair is growing lovely. I see hydrolysed wheat protein in the ingredients list and in the mousse alone its listed twice. That combined with Panthenol can be very drying. Hydrolysed wheat protein is my least favourite protein, too drying for my hair. Great content and honest review x
