@@bushbae7029 I always thought bruh was a black southern thing started by black southerners and just spread across the country. Cus where I'm from we say bro or bro bro that's not a white thing in Philly. Maybe it's just a person's tone of voice that make it sound hip. We say bruh a little bit cus of social media making slang universal, but growing up bruh wasn't that popular here even tho it's a black thing everywhere outside of the east coast.

Taking down these statues won't change history. If anything, instead of being a tool for education of what when wrong and a catalyst for how to do things right, taking down the evidence of what went wrong just makes it easier to hide it and further deny that a problem exists. Edit: How long before they've got people doing what Holocaust deniers do, saying that slavery never happened either?

It would be nice if these companies give reperation to black people. They have used our image for over 100 years and made billions. They can open a fund account pay out to black families.

I didnt realize any of this. I just thought this woman marketed it, you know like she invented the recipe for syrup, pancake mix, and I liked how it tasted so I bought it for years thinking "Aunt Jemimah" was the best. 😭😭😭

I know growing up I asked my mom who is from Mobile Alabama ,why we never bought Aunt Jemima back when I was a kid 🙄and her response used to be they think of us as just cooks and Maids hell she even told us there was a soap called gold dust with two black babies on the cover that they had when she grew up in segregation. As an adult I still do not and Have Not nor every bought those products😡 I'm good with off brand💪🏽
