Aurea Spa guided tour on the MSC Meraviglia May 2023

this is a fully narrated guided tour from the assistants Spa manager. she gave a very in-depth tour of the entire space man's Barbershop lady Salon sauna areas to Koozie steam-bath ice massage heated salt bath tanning facility massage rooms couples rooms and changing facilities with their thermal bad relaxation area.
I would like to thank her and the spa staff on the MSC meraviglia May 2023 for their gracious offer to give me a guided tour.
I hope this video helps you increase the ability to have a fantastic cruise with MSC Cruise Lines.

This is the best Aurea Spa tour on the MSC Meraviglia I have viewed, excellent job! I am deciding if my husband and I want a week-long spa pass. We have stayed in the Spa on the Norwegian Breakaway and Escape, and the spa on those ships is spectacular. We never felt the need to go to the pool, just the spa. The Aurea Thermal area does seem to be a lot smaller, I am curious about how busy it gets.

I was on the Virtuosa last week, this is so similar I almost didn't realise it is not the same ship! I purchased a week long thermal spa pass, I found the thermal area to be hotter later in the day, not that early morning was cold, just less hot. I also used the nail spa and certain massage services, but not any of the jacuzzis as I am immune compromised with blood cancer and that would be a health risk for me. Highly recommend!!

I did not go back but I think on Port days the thermal spot area is not busy at all but on sea days everything is busy

It gets very busy, you have to book a time slot and numbers are limited to ensure no overcrowding

Yes of course, (why not?) but it is not German style "Textile Free" ... there are seperate male & female changing rooms and when I was there everyone wore swimwear .. as well as most used towels or washed down the benches to clean after other passengers

Do you need an appointment for the spa or just walk-in?, not for services just the thermal spa

So it is recommended that you either go to the desk or you call the phone number to arrange a spa treatment appointment depending on what services you need. But I think if you want to just use the thermal space you can walk up

Also just so there's no point of confusion this Spa is located on the MSC meraviglia cruise ship
