Aurizon entered into a long term contract with Team Global Express (Formerly TOLL) in early 2023 to commence operating services across Australia, with the Melbourne to Perth route being the first to become active. Due to the size of the train and limited space at the docks in Melbourne the train is split into two sections, loaded, then recombined at Moorabool loop in an unusual fashion with a locomotive mid train.
