Her videos is not videos, they are work of art 🙂 The day before this video was shot , AURORA and Viktoria(her sister) was raiding everything they found with pearls just to make this outfit. They also wanted to have this clamshell, but did not know where to find one. They used all of their contacts around Norway, but nobody had one. In the end they finally found one just around the corner from where the made the video🙂

This was recorded in the time of Covid. Aurora wanted people to feel loved. Pretty much everything in the video is self-made. And the two fan women are Aurora's friends. They stepped in at very short notice when Aurora came up with the idea on set.

My daughter picked this for her wedding song, and when she did I knew I did a decent job raising her.

They made almost everything theirself, Aurora directed the video herself. The headpice: she used 3 days (or was it 4?) taking pearls from old clothes and making a headpice of them. The audio you hear is from the old demo they recorded when they made the song, they also kept it on the records, Aurora say that is not perfect, but it had a warmth that her and Magnus wanted to keep.

Please don’t forget about the music video for Cure for Me. As far as the other MVs she’s in, I think Storm is a must. Because it’s an actual collab where she wrote some of the song, and the MV is filmed in Norway so it’s her crew. And it’s a visually striking MV.

I went to a concert a few months ago that she did in my country ( Peru) and she changed the last few " i love yous" to " te amo" ( "i love you" in spanish) it was such a lovely moment

This is Aurora’s love song for her fans. There are some little tributes to Leonard Cohen songs in the lyrics. When Aurora sings “we are leaning out for love and will lean out forever” Is from his song Suzanne.

Doja Cat was really blown away by this. She had plans of using something similar in a video but Aurora beat her to it. There are actually a video out here that shows Doja as she is finding this video. Its quite a nice reaction from her. And in her own words, she loves Aurora. Well, duh! On a side note neither here or there, but Aurora was quite proud of her underboobs here. Go figure. The paragon of a decent and proper music artist said, and I quote " I thank my mom and dad for my underboobs" That's Aurora for you. I just love this woman, artist, songwriter, singer, producer, poet, creature, fellow human. Thanks Ashlena and love from Norway.

I think her coming out of the shell and singing about Love is a wonderful reference to "The birth of Venus" which is a painting about the goddess of loves birth.

There is actually no crowd. It's an empty theater. Filmed during corona lockdown on a low budget. She made the dress herself (maybe with her sister) and the girls at the end is some of her friends.

He is a fellow Norwegian and the official video is wonderful. As far as continuing with her own music, I would recommend Potion for Love (live VEVO) which is the companion piece to Exist for Love (it’s a break-up song!). After that, try Animal Soul (the version at Verftet online festival 2020), Soulless Creatures live at Bergen (2020), Why Did You Have to Go (UMV) (a fan-made video - posted by Hann Chan - that accompanies the song she performed only once at the funeral for a friend that was later made available by the family online), and the 20-minute concert at SOS Ole Bull (in Bergen 2020) which includes three songs and some wonderful crowd interactions (make sure you watch the one with English subtitles). Hi dear Ashlena ! YAY ! Finally the last music videos... and you started with one of her most beautiful songs AND videos. The very first time I hjave heard "Exist for love" was in a live video from 2020 (during the pandemic) where she gave a small intimate concert in Norway, performing just three songs (The River, Make you feel my love (Bob Dylan cover) and Exist for love) and when I heard "Exist for love", I almost melted away... so simple, but yet so hautingly beautiful... just like the music video, as you mentioned after the song. I would love to see you react to this little concert one day, since it is so sweet and Aurora is so cute, adorable and also funny ! There is a "complementary" song to "Exist for love", which is called" Potion for love"... also very beautiful, the studio version AND the live version from VEVO ! this mv and song came out during the covid pandemic, she was doing live streams in youtube weekly to keep us sane, she was so lovely just talking to us and playing one song, when the music video came out she said that she wrote this song a long time ago but she said that now this song was for us, her fans, so it was very emotional to see the video when she pointed the camara she was singing to us directly 🥹 and the i love yous at the end pointing to the empty spaces in the theater was a direct i love you to us the fans so yeah i think Aurora is the one artist that i know that its this cute with her fans

Simplicity, yes I think it's part of her magic song, she use simple words, (part because english is not her language) so using simple words to discribe deep meaning and poetry , this way ppl around the world have access to the message, often poetry is beautyfull only for those who understand the deep meaning, but with Aurora ( as well with The Warning) the simplicity of those words are not taking away from the meaning of the message but can be understand by many more.

More than a resident show in Las Vegas, it gives me the sensation of something straight up from one of the safes of the Titanic, something in tune with the Belle Epoque: I imagine Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio sitting in that audience the evening before the event we all know. But in the video the audience is empty, because it was filmed in the midst of the covid period and Aurora wanted to symbolize the situation of all live shows blocked due to quarantine. Can't wait to see your reactions to her covers, my favorite being Across The Universe -Triple J, during a tour in Australia. She customizes the final lines of the song to her own style/feel. I like to imagine that John Lennon would approve.
