This video was filmed during a brief sojourn on the Gold Coast at Burleigh Heads on a perfect Queensland Spring day - a nice run of spendable coins towards the Adult Beverage fund and there is also the civic duty aspect of removing all the junk from the beach along with the treasure. We hope you enjoyed this day out, far from our usual inland bush haunts! More beach hunting videos are on the way with some great gold and silver finds coming. All the best and Happy Fossicking! Great beach hunt, always fun enjoying the sun and the clean ocean breeze! I'll be heading to the Treasure coast of Florida in February for a go at some of that Spanish silver or maybe some pull tabs! LOL Enjoy your cold adult beverages! Have fun, thanks for sharing!

Well Done Warren. Coleen did you again mate. Surprising that you found anything on that beach. I visualized that there would be numerous detectorists swarming that beach each day. Nice Camera work by the way. You get enough practice filming Coeens finds so that is good . LOL.

Do people have beach bonfires in Qld.? I have sometimes found big lumps of melted aluminum cans on the beach, mostly in California. My drinking days were here in Hawaii, so we had beach fires, driftwood and old shipping pallets from the back of liquor stores. The low grade burned iron nails soon rust completely on a beach.

Thanks for the comment Tom, yes beach bonfires used to be common until the Fun Police made them illegal. Of course that hasn't stopped the parties on the beach at all LOL. People have been going to those beaches for almost 200 years and dropping items so you never know what can turn up. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
