@AwesomeDude775 lol yeh I was thinking of feeding it the concrete weights :D. instead I may just loosen the bolts right off and leave them on so it bashes itself to bits :D

@myryonspoof the reason behind the 3 phase motor is variable speed and a lot less noise!

The Hotpoint is a common machine in the UK. I'm not sure why, because they are just utter crap. Now they get their machines made by Indesit and rebadge them, but somehow manage to get them made to a lower spec than the Indesit version. You can have an Indesit and Hotpoint sitting next to each other in a shop and they are absolutely identical except the Hotpoint is more expensive. Spares are grossly overpriced and lots will be needed.

actually, i think you'll find he will. i often fix the hotpoints/indesits. very economical repairs and when they break very easy to access and fix/replace parts. bit of elbow grease and no lazyness saying "it isnt worth it" is all needed. ive seen many of these, very simple, very cheap.

I've got the same hotpoint here in UK. U have to hold cancel for about 5 seconds. Then again to skip the 2min pump out.

the bearrings are fine on the whirlpool too. you should have fixed them up and sold them since they only had a couple of cuts and bruises

@Aussie50 the silver(graphite) machine is actually called hotpoint ultima (hotpoint) it says on the door. and they are made and put together in germany. the only chinese machines made arent sold in the uk. apart from bosch washer dryers, low end zanussi and bosch and a couple of other shitty things nobody bothers with :)
