This is the worst of his 'message oriented' films.... Maharshi is the best! They should have started with Maharshi or 1 Nenokkadine.... Seriously why people don't ask for best movies I never understand

@@050138 dude.. i would not suggest anyone to watch Maharshi, its not that good to be honest, its just an over the top action and emotional drama. 1 nenokkadine is a great recommendation though.

@@NavnManm Maharshi is much much better than Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu.... I can easily give you 6-7 reasons.... Also, international audience will connect to it better because it has self realization arc of the hero, giving up comfortable NRI life in the US to return to own country to do something good .... basically it has Swades vibes, with the last 30 mins not only highlighting farmers problems but also giving some practical solutions like weekend farming or procuring produce directly from farmers avoiding middle men.... whereas Srimanthudu has one of the worst and loud climax scenes in Telugu films, where the hero single handedly causes an explosion and kills so many MLAs and gets away with it.... walking like a hero in slow motion, while Ooo.... Srimanthudaaa! rings in the background .... Even though the MLAs were evil, this is still too much.... Going to village on a cycle, and bashing up people all the time is more over the top according to me.... Atleast Maharshi spends more time in self realization, and there is the element of friendship with Allari Naresh, and emotional scenes with Prakash Raj.... And also the heroes view of the definition of success which changes in the film.... And vintage Mahesh Babu in the college scenes was a riot to watch.... No offense, but I find Koratala's storylines and hero characterizations pretty flat .... Maharshi was actually enjoyable though.... and most of the songs are situational and are great, with equally good BGM

@@kvenkatesh2307Maharshi feels like Every scene in that movie is just written to elevate MB's character, that doesn't feel real to me You made a good point about character development, but when the story is only about elevating one particular character you do not feel any empathy or you do not connect to other characters. And I don't think foreigners like it because it doesn't feel real. When it comes to Srimanthudu, I have to agree with you ,the ending is pretty bad but there are other scenes which are great. For Example, the character development is good and feels real since the story is only about the village and the people live in it but not about elevating the Hero.

Also dont forget Khaleja and Dhookudu.
