I absolutely love your designs. I am just learning chain maille, and my challenge is that your designs seem to require jump rings that are not what seem to be a standard size. So how do you make your jump rings that are 5/32, 3.18MM, 2.75mm?

Have you worked with the scale mail ( dragon/snake/fish scales) ? I would love to see what you create with them!

Hi Deb, beautiful as usual! :) I'm shopping for the products to make this (wish I could order from you, but the shipping it a bear!) and was wondering, could you use a 6mm round bead instead of a bicone, or is the shape important? Thanks for the great tutorial! Oh! I have had 3 people try teaching me Euro 4-in-1 and spent months practicing but never got it - I got it first try with your explanation!! :D

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful bracelet, I live in UK and wonder how much it would cost me to order from you?
@AussieMaillers
@AussieMaillers 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Margaret, sorry for the delay in answering you, KZfaq changed the admin area and I can't see new comments as easily now. It would depend on how much you order as weight plays into the cost but for an order that is under 500grams in weight (which the majority of our orders tend to be) a parcel with tracking would be around $28.00AUD. It's not cheap, but it's what Australia Post charges.....Deb

I really love your work Deb, I been meaning to ask I get my rings from The Ring Lord and I am not used to the mm (lives in Florida) what ring size using the ID would you recommend? I have 16g 5/32 rings would those work?
@AussieMaillers
@AussieMaillers 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Akela, the closest to the size I used is their 19G(1.0mm) x 9/64"ID. When you say 16G do you mean 1.2mm wire or 1.6mm wire? If 1.6mm(16SWG) then no, those sizes won't work. If you mean the 1.2mm(18SWG) then possibly, most likely but I have never used that sized ring to do romanov so I can't speak from actual experience.

@@AussieMaillers Ah ok I can definately get that 19g 9/64 but I do have the 1.2 mm 18swg at the moment so I will give it a try. 18g 3/16 is nice but too loose for my liking. thank you so much!

@@queeniiakelavyking2816 I'm curious, did you ever try the 18swg 5/32" for this? If so, how did it go?

@@madqueen6632 i actually did and it worked out pretty well. I had a bit of trouble with the wore part but the rings worked well enough
