Love this. Snakes are 1 of my favorite animals and being a fellow Aussie, I love our beasties. I live in South West W.A and so we have a few snakes down our way, including the Southern Tiger, a truly beautiful species.

Here in the Northern Rivers of NSW we have a fiesty, dangerous one metre long snake - the clarence river rough scale which I know quite a few people who have been bitten by them. They are not an attractive snake for that I vote the Red Belly Black. Once saw a Red Belly Black at least 10 feet long...no kidding. Also had a very large Red Belly Black rear up at the moving car of which I was the passenger. Oh the joys of living in the bush.

Around Christmas dinner - my father's family would tell the tale of nan who shot the brown snake she found in her family's small house on a farm around Texas Queensland. Unfortunately she missed the first shot and hit the fridge.

It is over hyped. I'm 73 years old and was born in Australia. I have spent a lot of time in the bush and only seen a snake a few times.

Inland Taipan is the worlds deadliest land snake but some sea snakes are far more venomous than it or the Eastern Brown. .
@Bulltardwin2 ай бұрын
Not true. Inland Taipan is the most deadly of ALL snakes..."Studies on mice and human cardiac cell culture shows that venom of the inland taipan, drop by drop, is the most toxic among all snakes; land or sea." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrophis_belcheri @@MrAuldphart
