I don’t think it was prosthetics they were using. It’s almost Like they laminated his face. Maybe for a blurring effects for the skin.

So very incredible how awesome they did on every aspect of this movie. I loved it and nobody else could have played Elvis. Austin blew it out of the water. I believe Elvis embodied him as well. I was so disappointed they got nothing at the Oscar’s. I never watch it but did that night. I’m not sure what was going on, but so many were rooting for Austin, Elvis movie. He is so good looking and humble just like Elvis. GOD BLESS AND RIP, ELVIS AND LISA.

Can y’all imagine how early he had to be up for the makeup every morning? I wonder how long it took because you don’t see coffee or tea in his hand the entire time But here he is looking bright eyed, smiling a lot. When he is on his phone given how much it’s by his chin but he keeps his neck up for the artists’ to work, I like to imagine that he is FaceTiming his family.

So proud everyone is speaking out about how The Academy completely denied what Austin Butler achieved in his portrayal of the beloved ELVIS PRESLEY! He did one of the BEST portrayals of an American icon that was ever done. I think the relatively new Asain head of the Academy chose to pick Brendon Fraser because he'd done a comeback after decades of no movies instead of Austin, and the Asian movie EEAAtOnce in deference to all the hatred against Asains burning down their shops & violent acts on Asains the last few years. Sad, yes, but that's not what the Oscar is chosen for... a sentimental repayment. No. AUSTIN DESERVED THE BEST ACTOR & the movie itself many of the 8 Oscars the Asain movie was given, not to the Elvis movie. Very wrong to use social incidents to award 8 Oscars as a social protest. I'm so annoyed this happened. Austin EARNED THAT OSCAR WITH HIS STELLER PORTRAYAL OF ELVIS. THE PRESLEY WOMEN EVEN RAVED ABOUT HOW AUSTIN WAS INCREDIBLE! Such a misjudgement. That shouldn't have been allowed.
