The suck back is my favorite move. I leapt out of my chair when I saw it so perfectly executed. Love watching this kid: and I get 2 more years

Yeah, you do not see too many people from Georgia in high level wrestling

Henson's ability to make on mat adjustments shows. Happy for Henson and his accomplishment as an individual and for VT. See you next year!

Both guys always bring it for the full 7. Two super-positive warriors. Great, exciting match by both.

Are you telling me that the "Olympian" from the wrestling power house known as Mexico lost to an American college kid ?
@joshuamchargue1290Ай бұрын
Gomez beat Yianni last year. One of the best things about Gomez is that he lays it on the line every time he steps out there. Also, Nick Lee recently beat Yianni best 2/3. Check it out. These guys are all neck and neck, including Henson, you don’t have to be the best ever, you have to be the best that match. That day, that 7 minutes..

@@footballfanboy9680lotta talk when Gomez beat him their last meet. Gomez throws big moves.. he’s super dangerous. Just didn’t go his way at allll
@abdulrabbani4520Ай бұрын
Austin Gomez is the Michael Johnson of wrestling. He can beat the best wrestler in the world then lose to a JV wrestler the next day. You never know with him. But always exciting to watch. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
@rickemery7186Ай бұрын
@@joshuamchargue1290 Safe to say EVERYONE lays it on the line every time they step out there, but nice reach.

On a side not, Rock Harrison is just a fantastic analyst and broadcaster. He wrestled and ref’d in College and his enthusiasm is just awesome. JB is also a fantastic analyst and hope he always come back. DC I need a break from after this year. He just talked non stop, talked over the other broadcasters and didn’t call 90+% of the matches. His stories have stories. I do like listening to him at UFC fights
@vaughnjones8768Ай бұрын
Rock is pretty annoying when anything exciting happens. I don't need to be yelled at to know it was a good move.
@morrylong9141Ай бұрын
DC is a nothing in the ncaa’s. Had to mute the entire finals because he did not stop running his mouth. He is Not the broadcaster the wrestling world needs, it’s not about him or his stories and he is clueless to this!!
@rickemery7186Ай бұрын
Agree 100%, DC needs to keep his octagon & mma stories out of the NCAA wrestling world. Yes many transition into that sport, but leave it there and be present and not bringing up old stories or old matches. It devalues all the hard work and great wrestling the current athletes put forth when he constantly refers to "oh that move was like in 2002 when...". Need wrestling alum like Anthony Robles, Kyle Dake, even bring up Dan Gable as a guest.
@williamoleary9330Ай бұрын
I.agree with a lot of what you said. He talked over everyone with his nonsensical stories that had nothing to do with the matches during the Second Round and Semis to the point where I had to also mute a lot of it. He did a little better for the Finals, but after being annoyed so much by him I needed a break and wished he didn’t do the Finals. Give me Jim, Tim, Rick, JB, and Shane. Those guys are enthusiastic, super knowledgeable and Professionals. I loved when JB called him out and made fun of him in the Semis for being a flip flopper. @@morrylong9141
