I’m watching this on my period right now and I’ve spent all day crying and have thrown up twice, my period has not become more manageable to deal with since I’ve first had it and I am genuinely happy to see Austin being so understanding and willing to learn about this pain. I have to call off of work at least two days every cycle unless they line up with my off days because I legitimately cannot function.

I loved that he needed to know! For the curious, the average period pain is about a five or six, but for many the pain can vary from month to month. I went to a naturopathic doctor and she recommends cutting out caffeine entirely, and then lowering the sugar intake...after a few months you should see a difference. We are not supposed to have period pain.

I love simulators like that. It shows what pain woman have to go through ever month. Everyone is different, some feel more pain, some feel less pain, but it I often see how the statement "That woman doesn't have to take a day of because of her period, so you don't have to do either" is used and that's just so wrong. Someone can maybe Work with cramps, but some have really strong cramps, headaches, so many mood swings that they simply can't go to work for a day or two. We as a society have to accept that because to have a period is the most normal thing in the world.

We need one where Lexi does the labor simulator to see what he was experiencing. I know she has a period but we don’t know how accurate the pain was.
