Habs fan here - I’ve never watched AM much (‘cause, Leafs y’know? lol) but seeing his low-key, subdued celly after his hat trick, I’m on the AM bus. Young players, this is how you show some respect and empathy to your opponent when they can’t do anything right and your team can do no wrong. That’s a role model. Huge props to AM and the Leafs organization - if this is the culture of respect you want In your players, I wish you all a great and successful season! 👍👍

As a Leaf fan, I was in awe of Jean Beliveau. From when I first saw him play live in 1961, until he passed away. It is important as a fan to support the team you love but equally important to realize that as a hockey fan, there is great talent and people on other teams.

Matthews is the type of guy that started his first NHL game as a rookie with FOUR goals. I remember watching that game. League should really give him more spotlight he's basically the Allen Iverson of Hockey. Can't win a ring but probably the best offensive talent in the league.

For everyone asking, Sportsnet doesn't actually make these highlight videos themselves. They outsource or have AI create them, thats why there are always errors (ie: showingMcMann's goal and not Matthews)

When Morgan Reilly first got suspended everyone assumed the Leafs were going to fold without him and go 0-5, instead, the Leafs are making everyone look like clowns by going 3-0 instead of 0-5 like everyone assumed they would.
