I'd personally prefer to have an annual 6 Nations, with England, Aus, Tonga, Samoa, NZ and a qualifying team from the rest. Play every year apart from when there is a world cup and alternate between Northern and Southern hemisphere. We need to learn from Union on the international scene.

If the ARLC/NRL invested more into expanding the game outside of Oceania, it could create a large viable market worldwide which would also help the NRL by way of TV rights and merch sales. "A rising tide lifts all boats." The Pacific islands RL don't have money because they're small economies. NZ RL doesn't have money because their country's main focus is RU. England RL doesn't have enough money because their country's main focus is soccer and RU. On top of that, Europe lacks competition for England and France RL, while the latter makes no money at all. IMO growing the game in Turkey and Jamaica (sizeable amateur scenes in both), growing the game in Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, Serbia and Lebanon, and setting-up RL in Algeria (many ethnic Algerians in French RL), Iran (great at soccer and wrestling) and Ukraine (not as occupied with wrestling or basketball as other ex-USSR states) should be top priority.

@@64kuki42 nrl, superleague and international game all have different rules and interpretations its a problem with having 3 different boards and governance. In the nrl its still a rule but they use interpretation to rule on it like did it have an affect on play. Superleague and international they stick to the black and white rule of it. Like i said its a shit rule. Nrl is also more lenient on the dummy runner, in superleague even if it happens 15 meters away from the ball they tend to rule obstruction. But then the NRL bring out new rules and laws for their own competition every season without consulting with the international body and super league. It causes shit like this where you watch the nrl all season and see one set of rules and interpretation get officiated and then u seen this shit happen and people think its a conspiracy or fix but its really not
