I think Charles Dickens would be proud to know that his story is _this_ timeless. It's been retold in so many ways, many of them very different but still just as enjoyable. It goes to show just how good a job he himself did when he wrote it. Plus, well, it turned out to be a fairly great story to make into a musical. And I've got a soft spot for musicals xD . ~ ~ ~ Hasbro Executives: "So, do you think you can do anything interesting with the plot from 'A Christmas Carol'? It's a classic and it always sells well." Daniel Ingram: *[Wearing a superhero cape while the wind blows dramatically]* "I don't care how well it sells. The point is, yes. Yes, I can."

Looking back on this now, it's amusing that most reactors I've watched have taken notice that the cold-hearted professor is indeed a reference to Professor Severus Snape.

Everybody gangsta 'til Luna gets a song. That's when shit gets real. Edit: No joke though, literally _every_ song in this episode was amazing. Such a great episode. It's kind of crazy that a retelling of such an old story could make for such awesome songwriting. Everybody who worked on this episode deserves a hearty pat on the back and a thank-you.

Since Snowfall doesn't know that her spell will literally bring the Ice Age back future, same goes with Starlight messing with the past would create a worse future for Equestria... You really need to revisit this episode, all of you. during several scenes, you will note a pair of ponies... Sherlock and Dr. Watson ponies, AND several times, you'll fine Moriarty pony as well. Sometimes, just around the corner from the pair. Time Turner (aka: Dr Whooves), along with a huge number of ponies from the show. My favorite was the 'old tyme Vinyl and her gramophone, and Octavia's ancestor with a fiddle. :) I agree the story was well done, and the songs were epic. Especially Luna's first solo song in the series. A Haunting melody, and sung so well! Keep on doing reactions, the Frank Pony

+George Harvey Fun Fact - Tara Strong had actually wanted to play Pinkie and auditioned for her, but lost the role to Andrea Libman, and she ended up as Twilight instead. That voice right there she was using, the one Starlight accused Twilight of being her "Pinkie voice," was the voice Tara had used for her Pinkie audition, so that was indeed Tara (and by extension Twilight) doing Pinkie.

Working on Ep 7 newbie dash now. Yeh took me a while to settle into this format. Makes it nice and easy to watch. Stay away from my first collab though. Urg I look back and can't help but say "what was I thinking?" Anyway. Currently learning to use Sony Vegas to help speed up my edits hopefully. More on the way soon XD

Yes awesome been waiting for this! I love A Christmas Carol one of my favorite stories and I love that the ponies did a ponified version of it; and while I will admit that it's odd to see a Christmas type episode in the middle of May but I like it; every time I watch it (which has been a ton of times) it gets me into the Christmas spirit. The animation and music were great, the parallel between Starlight and Snowfall was great; love the Snape pony tribute just everything hit the nail on the head. It's such a great episode. (In my opinion). As of right now my favorite episode of the season; great reaction and can't wait for more. XD.

The Armoured Brony Well...a lot!? -The music was perfect. Another style with every song, 100% fitting for every charakter. There are a lot of dark, fanmade Luna-Songs out there, but this short tune gave me chills AJs Songs plays with your feelings, happy the one moment, sad the next. Pinkis ist just pure joy and made me finger snap^^ -Making a MlP Christmas Carol, put in new elements, while keeping the original idea. -A lot of little things happening off-story, like Derpy as star of the christmas tree or RDs Dad at the end of the episode. Never felt like fanservice this time. -I even liked the fact that this episode aired in May. There are enough christmas things happening at christmas already :p -Dragontoenail, I need one

Haha great my job is done XD and songs...... I loved pinkies for its catchiness. I loved Lunas for its sheer power. I loved starlights because villain song. And I loved the choir for its carol. All were amazing XD

I love Pinkie's song, I was just so happy throughout the entire thing. I loved all of them really, Starlight's villain song, Applejack's song, Luna's song. They were all great! XD.

Well, technically, Rarity's character's name is actually spelled "Merry" based on transcripts and other info on the episode, but yep, it was surprising to hear names that could possibly pass for human in an MLP episode. :3

+The Armoured Brony Yes, the entire episode is a reference to Charles Dickens novella "A Christmas Carol". It has been done many times before, like Mickey Mouse and Muppets just to name a few. But this adaptation is equally impressive.

Lycan Agreed.Thanks for telling.I liked the fact that this was a reference to that novella.It gave me pretty good nostalgia.I'm foreign,but i like literary persons.I really don\t know much about England and American writers,because our English item in the school didn't really tell us an information about British writers.We only read some of the compositions of British writers.So maybe there will be more information about them in the high school.I don't know.Just saying.And thanks for telling again)
