I liked that last bit at the end. Be proud to be Australian in the modern world. We are a nation still maturing. What matters most though: is how you represent your people and how you treat others. The character of a man, this is more defining than race and culture. There will always be differences in culture and race amongst people. Its about accepting & respecting others. Thanks for your vid

Exactly if all the other Nationalitys can have their day in Australia . Then why cant Australians have our day !!! We don't kick up a stink about their day . Then Let us Aussies have our Australia Day

Im Aboriginal from houso myself. There was no racism and if any of my Aboriginal family saw me being disrectful to any race they would have rightfully pulled me into line. We had black faces brown faces and white faces who we called aunty and uncle as they were part of our community. That was Australia is. Everyone has the right to celebrate their culture. It’s sad aussies don’t stick together in gaol, his absolute right about every nationality having their special day in gaol eating big feasts but on Australia Day everyone gets a grubby Anzac biscuit , see if the aussies stuck together they could demand they want a day to have a barbecue desets etc for true blues only but then all the other nationalities would be saying I’m quarter Aussie I want to go to the bbq, it’s like goulbourn every nationality has there own yards but the aussies get split up and thrown into different nationalities yards instead of getting their own

This is my take on it, call it my opinion. We dont have to identify as the colour white, that comes from old race politics. I just identify as Aussie, with European heritage no colours needed.

Well done bro im maori but i was raised in Australia. The whole argument around Australia day is always a tough one for me as i have celebrated it many many times with my white Aussie freinds and family but i also have Aboriginal friends and family and i respect there culture and land soo i can understand where they are coming from with it all. But besides all of that!! I love this video and ive gotta agree with you that yes you are entitled to celebrate who and what you are as a white Australian.

Well said , we were a multicultural society, especially the poor . Nowadays, labels are put on everything. We are divided because the people in power want us fighting each other. When we were children, the only races we cared about were the races we were running in.

The issue is people are actually taking the political bullshit seriously. Anyone with half a brain can see the intentional division for what it is, we're being systematically divided by race, creed, colour, sex. There's no reason to try and argue against it, because that almost validates their argument, as if it's worth arguing against. You're speaking truth bro, but it's unnecessary, don't lower yourself to their level by debating them.
@tinkingtinking21346 ай бұрын
They want to erase our culture that you speak about and history. I just dont let them grind me down, they can't erase my memory and how i was brought up to be lucky i was born here. I also have the Southern Cross tattoo, my son has Ned Kelly stuff and the Southern Cross flag in his shed. My kids were brought up with my culture as an 1st Australian generation, with ACDC, Rose Tattoo and Cold Chisel and i will not have them told it now means nothing. I took my granddaughter to the beach yesterday and i said don't let anyone tell you this isnt your country, i will keep telling my kids and grandkids till the day i die. I think its disgusting how the school system is teaching the kids its not their land anymore. Yes it is, and ALWAYS WILL BE. That's what im teaching my future generations, they can like it or lump it. They didnt like their culture taken away, so why do it to us, resentment isnt the answer, all it did was make them become hateful, it will only cause bad blood.

Your are a convict from England and you ended up a convict in the Australian prison you are a convict like Ned Kelly who was a out law who didn't abide by the law and became part of the resistance of the Australian law and it's government constitution ' so why do you think your morals are right and why do you think the Australian government was going to allow you to have the privilege to be apart of the celebration of Australia Day when you went against the constitution of Australia 'and broke the law under those circumstances' you forfeited your right to be apart of the celebration. Because you chose to be a convict so "your" government is showing you how they treat outlaw's.
