I lived in australia for 4 years and in switzerland for 6-7 years i think if you learn german and have skills then there is no country better than Switzerland in world in terms of earnings and quality of life what a beautiful country it is

Guys, a little correction about paying the taxes in both US and Canada. It is not like that. You will file for taxes in both the countries only in the year when you move to USA. For example, if you moved to US in May, then in Canada you are liable to file taxes because you were a resident there until April of that year. Once you become a non-resident, there is no need to file taxes in Canada. You can check the critetia of how you become a Canadian non-resident.

I love the work you do, but please don’t mislead people with wrong information. You do NOT have to pay taxes in both countries if you permanently move from Canada to U.S. There is a tax agreement between Ottawa and Washington DC. How do I know? I’m a Canadian citizen who moved to the U.S.from Canada in 2008.

That’s not the case, if you are US citizen then you pay taxes for two countries but if you are a Canadian citizen you don’t.

Correction: You don't have to pay taxes in both the countries. Second, if you were born in India then you'll never get a green card in the US even though you're a Canadian citizen.

Regarding dual taxation the statement you made is not true. I made the move from Canada to USA and I just pay US taxes. You can declare yourself as Non Tax resident of Canada

@@GursahibSinghCanada that's a huge relief! We rcvd visa, me study permit and my husband open work permit. He has his own business now and we were initially planning to Start a restaurant there as well. But we were told that business on work permit is illegal and can't register for trade licence either. Only PR or citizens can have a registered trade licence
