My ODI World 11 (2023 WC players only)- 1. Rohit Sharma 2. David Warner 3. Virat Kohli 4. Babar Azam 5. Jos Buttler (WK) 6. Hardik Pandya/Shakib Al Hasan 7. Glenn Maxwell 8. Rashid Khan 9. Jasprit Bumrah 10. Trent Boult 11. Mitchell Starc Shakib will play on spinning tracks and Pandya on flat and seaming decks. However if Stokes is bowling, then he will play irrespective of the conditions…

@@321xyzAb Reason I have not picked Stokes is already mentioned. For Gill, this is his first ICC event apart from 2 WTC finals in which he didn’t set the stage on fire! So he is still yet to perform in big games compared to Rohit and Warner who are proven match winners. For Shaheen, he had competition in this team from Starc and Boult ! And these Trans-Tasman quicks have an impeccable ODI record, so couldn’t pick him. Nothing against Gill or Shaheen, it’s just that those who have been picked above them are better at the moment. But surely in a year or two, these two are the names we will see on everyone’s lips
