The Lion will roar in 84.... I remember that from probably 1983 but not till now have I seen the ad again. It worked on me as when I got my license in 1994 I bought a 1984 VK :-)

@@96libertytt The VK is probably my favourite Commodore design, closely followed by the VL Calais. The VK found the perfect middle ground between Opel's original design and Holden's development of it. In my opinion, it was also the best looking Brock Mobil 05 race car. Once Holden had sorted out their unleaded fuel dramas and engine configuration, the VL Commodore and Calais were very good cars, both mechanically and visually. I love the half pop-up headlights on the Calais- I thought it looked really ahead of it's time.
